The slogan on the window

"Save Sodomy from Ulster"
It celebrates inclusivity apparently and is the Lord Mayor's proudest moment as the city's Mayor.

Yes, you said this on the last thread and it was all explained to you then.

Edited

Is it Groundhog Day? 😂

😂 You're too funny.

There has never been a good FWR counter argument to this picture, and it seems like you've got nothing again.

You may as well say that the best countries for women are the best for pet ownership. It’s correlation, not causation. Lots of advantages for people (and animals) spring from a common cause. Rich, developed countries feature many social and economic factors that benefit women, disabled people, people from ethnic minorities, other groups.

But this really has been done to death. Nothing will shake the illogical foundations of your assertions.

Why do you think it will lead to increased homophobia?

I think most people who understand the origin will laugh.

Because the OP is trying to shoehorn in some transphobia for unknown reasons.

I'd you see transphobia in any of my posts, please feel free to report them.

I think you’re the one that’s fixated on transphobia. Imagined transphobia obviously.

ArabellaScott · 24/05/2025 23:48

Can someone do a cover of 'Victoria' by the Kinks/The fall but substitute 'transphobia', please? Thanks.

Except, of course, there is a pretty poor correlation between the world's richest countries and women's wellbeing and equality scores on those indices, and also much lower rates of gender self-ID:

Here are the top ten countries by GDP:

USA, China, Germany, Japan, India, the UK, France, Italy, Canada, and Brazil

And yes, I have no issues with repeating myself, just like most people on FWR I imagine. Most posters here choose to repeat stories about individual criminal transwomen to create a fraudulent narrative they they are somehow representative of trans people in general, and I'll repeat the facts that the best countries in the world to be a woman have taken forward policies of gender self-ID and retained their positions at the top of all the tables for women despite this.

What kind of arsehole destroys a piece of public art because it commemorates and celebrates the fight for gay rights?🤔

“Art”? That’s a laugh and a half!

it’s provoking and ugly. I don’t want my 8 year old seeing “sodomy” as something to be celebrated. It’s what the LGB group do. Have to look the loudest and shout the loudest ALL. THE. TIME.

Noone cares. LGB people have their rights now jog on and shut up. No one actually cares who you sleep with. It’s such attention seeking

Do you know how Councils work? They have Arts and Culture budgets.

That's not very much in evidence when my artist DP tries to get funding for community projects.

And here’s the top 10 by GDP per capita, which is a very different list:

Luxembourg, Ireland, Switzerland, Singapore, Iceland, Norway, United States, Denmark, Quatar and the Netherlands.

Austria is number 13, Sweden 14.

None of the countries on your list are, by any stretch of the imagination, poor.

I’m not sure how you think this helps your argument, but never mind.

Thon looks like it was designed by a committee rather than an actual artist. Garish wouldn’t begin to cover it 😵‍💫
