India not happy with JKR drawing a line. Very aggressive.

Jo, you are bitter and twisted. A modern-day Miss Havisham. Bought court. You know it - I know it. I will always be more of a woman than you. The way you and your ghastly gang pretend to be the voice of all women is disgusting. And a joke. Along with the fact your daily sick bullying of women is completely ignored by UK media. You represent the Gender Critical movement - not women. I hope your boat sinks. Go fuck yourself. Trash.

dont know much about India but JKR has long been recognised as nasty, nasty person, bitter, unpleasant and highly intolerant of others.
sadly a few people cant see that.
she's done lasting damage to the cause of women everywhere, sowing division, and hate.
As a feminist I reject her and call on women everywhere to shun her toxic opinions.

As a feminist, I think she's brilliant. She stands up for actual women.

tartyflette · 21/05/2025 12:11

It's so odd to say that one female person is 'more than a woman' or 'less than a woman' as a comparator with another female person. I have never heard a woman use this expression.
If person has the requisite chromosomes, XX, they will always be a woman, a human female, regardless of surgeries or self-presentation. If XY, the person is and will always be male. There are no grades of womanhood.
I am not getting into DSDs, that is a separate issue and one which persons with DSDs do not wish to be conflated with gender ID.

Feelingleftoutagain · 21/05/2025 12:15

Typical male response! Or as one of my lovely friends would say oh look a man mansplaining what a woman should be/do

I think there's also a few women who don't like women with opinions - one just appeared on this thread...

I think that's India's type of "woman"...

I've noticed some of the older comments have started to be deleted now. Coincidence?

Yes. And willing to show it to anybody who asks. Which is something every woman does. Don't they? 🤐

Oh yes, I'm always flashing my cervix. Mainly at midwives, but all the same...

Aliflowers · 21/05/2025 12:22

I've been using women's toilets presumably all my life, I've never noticed anyone listening at doors. Unless someone was being sick and people were asking if they were ok. Or if someone was shouting for bog roll. Actually even then nobody was listening at doors. What funny toilets India must be going to.

Agree. I’ve never encountered a woman washing her knickers or moon cup in the sink either. I think India fantasises and fetishises what her idea of a woman’s toilet is. Every other word she spouts is lies.

SternJoyousBee · 21/05/2025 12:23

Oh I have no wish to protect him from his self inflicted potential fate. I think he is an appalling misogynist.

Edited

I have though found someone collapsed on the floor drunk in the ladies. How easy would it be for someone to take advantage of someone in that state especially in a locked stall away from prying eyes?

I’ve got the BeeGees in my head.

Oh, girl, I've known you very well
I've seen you tweeting every day
I never really thought you’d win
But then you took my bogs away
Suddenly you're in my face
Spoiling everything I do
You got me working day and night
Just tryin' to use the ladies’ loo

Here in your space I found my paradise
My only chance for happiness
And if I use the gents I think I will cry
Oh, say the terfs have cheated and reverse our sure decline
We can keep encroaching, just one safe space at at a time…

Cos I’m
More of a woman!
More of a woman than youooouuu
Yes I’m
More of a woman!
More of a woman than yoooouuuu

Oh this is the best thing ever.

“As a feminist”. Sure…

Even if I were completely indifferent to JKR, it's not too difficult to see that the crap levelled at her online and the very personal comments made about what a terrible person she is are completely disproportionate to anything she's ever said or done.

Some people may be easily-led to the point of following the prevailing winds, but you can't fool all the people all of the time.

'I’ve been using women’s loos since I was 14, and I have no idea who was and wasn’t menstruating during that time. Terfs are weird. Stripping themselves naked in the communal area, washing dirty knickers and moon-cups in the sink, carefully listening to the tinkle of pee to work out who’s next door.'

Stay out of women's spaces. It's none of your business what we do and don't do in women's spaces.

Am no longer on Twitter X, so that may be the reason, but I can't find this post by following the link.

In fact, I can't find anything since 2024.

Has India been on a deleting spree?

No, that's the way X works if you're not logged in. You see some old posts, but nothing new.

I google "person x" and Google serves me up their latest posts.

CapitalAtRisk · 21/05/2025 12:45

So you could Google "JK Rowling x" (quotes not needed) and you'd see her last three or so posts.

Those are not very nice comments, though, are they? Why does he get a free pass for stupid twittering and women don't?
