Why don't trans women care if women feel unsafe?

I listened to the Stephen Nolan show earlier on BBC Sounds. They were discussing the FA ban on male players in the female category. A lady from SEEN in Sport was on and was great.

Then there were two transwomen on (one who is involved with Mermaids). There was lots of talk about their feelings and some quite infuriating twisting of scientific fact (women come in all shapes and sizes, so transwomen have no advantage). But one thing that came up several times was how they didn't feel safe using male facilities. Stephen Nolan did the faux naive thing quite effectively and tried to turn it around to get them to consider other people's viewpoints, unsuccessfully. It was back to their feelings again. The levels of entitlement was quite astonishing.

Why don't they ever consider women who feel unsafe sharing spaces with males? Is it because these women are just bigots that need to be re-educated and reframe their trauma?

It seems more likely? But you don’t have any examples? Why do the feelings of men with special identities trump the needs of women?

Why should we trust men who want to access our single sex services and spaces more than men who have the decency to stay out?

No it is STILL not a NEED. It remains a desire. A want. Not a need.

Sorry fella's actual women's needs trump your desire to have your fantasies validated by unwilling women and girls. Time to just face up to reality, nobody can change sex, all transwomen are men and belong in male spaces and those who feel they can continue to transgress women's rights and boundaries are clearly wrong un's.

I think I've got to the point that as it's clear that many transwomen give no shits for women's safety, I give no shits for theirs. Not a position I originally held, but one that they have pushed me into over the years.

The word that is doing all the heavy lifting there is feel. Feelings do not override biology.

I mean, there have been numerous transwomen who’ve actually been convicted of harming women, so I don’t know why that poster things the fact she hasn’t been affected holds much sway.

hopeful you and your nephew are campaigning for 4th spaces

and in the meantime he needs to stay out of the ladies. His presence there would compromise the privacy and dignity of women who expect to be able to use the toilet without a man present, and compromise the safety of women by normalising the presence of men in the women’s toilets.

They are not males, they are transgender women. How many reports do you have of transgender women attacking women in restrooms? Most are gender neutral now anyway!

Of course they are male. It’s the one defining quality of a transwoman- you can’t be one if you’re not male.

Yes there have been incidents of transwomen attacking young girls in the supposedly single sex female only toilets.

There is no need for a debate, the Law is clear and unequivocal.

In the UK we had one school massacre and that was enough for us to bring in gun controls, likewise we had Katie Dowalski (sp?) and that was more than enough for us to say no more, I understand things in the USA (where restrooms exist) things are different, on both counts.

Ummm…. Lots. Also the only requirement to be aTW is to be male. Females cannot be TW.
