Greens internal drama warms up

New long article looking at the drama inside the Greens over biology suddenly existing again despite their best efforts.

How the Green Party forgot the environment and was torn apart by trans rows
It was a party united by a single mission – to save the planet. But now the gender identity debate has left it divided and in chaos

https://archive.is/TOlNx

The article is already out of date as Zack Polanski of hypnotic breasts fame has just launched a leadership bid against Deyner and Ramsey.

Emma Bateman
It's no secret that big boobs Polanski wants the top job. He is a student politics slogan churner, a self server who distains women and wants misgendering misdemeanours to be grounds for expulsion from the Greens.
He is "LGB with the T"
Still NO DEBATE!

Pro-women Greens article on his background:;
https://concernedgreens.uk/watchlist/zack-polanski/

The existence of biology is likely to be a significant part of the leadership contest for sure so interesting to watch .

Ali Shahrar has launched another legal challenge against the Greens. Gardening needed.

May 27th is the date for Emma Bateman's legal hearing against the Greens.

On May 27th I am in court against Green Party in a case which will expose the contorted lengths the Greens go to in order to shut women up.

It isn't going to go well for the Greens given the Supreme Court ruling. This could be key moment in seeing the ruling's effect on politics and directly impact the leadership contest. It will also be probably be infuriating and hilarious in equal measure.

I wrote 'there's nutters in every party' but the Greens and, to a lesser extent, the LDs have the focus. Don't 'kick a women in the balls' is a hell of a soundbite. He's bound to be asked the woman question, he'll be contacted over the Peggie case, and he'll go all in. He's a true believer and he'll sound insane except to a tiny portion of the electorate. I think despite that some folk will vote Green as a protest or, because they think they won't take power, they hope a few Green MPs will leaven the bigger parties. I hope such voters remember the damage a handful of Green MSPs did when their votes were needed by the SNP.

'Boob Whisperer' is a hell of a moniker. I hope it sticks.

Does anyone know when any of these pending cases will reach court? It seems to have been dragging on for years.

"People can say Reform hate gay people as much as they want yet David Bull who is Chairman of Reform U.K is gay as is Darren Grimes who has just been elected to Reform's party board."

And a YouGov poll last year found that 65% of Reform voters support gay marriage.

Lalgarh · 04/09/2025 13:32

Before Farage, the leader of the We Demand A Referendum Party (that then merged and transformed into UKIP) was Trans woman Nikki Sinclaire. There's nothing inherently leftish about personal identity or sexualities. It's actually libertarian/ individualism

SionnachRuadh · 04/09/2025 13:49

I'm sure Farage has his faults, but he literally doesn't care about your sexuality. I've never seen any evidence of him being uncomfortable with gay people. If he was, he wouldn't have David Bull as one of his closest collaborators. David is not the kind of man who you wonder if he might be gay, and by all accounts he's extremely popular with Reform members.

If Farage turns out to be on our side on genderwoo related issues, it will be on a common sense basis, and if he's wobbly that's because of his basic libertarianism.

I don't know, lots of people hallucinate that Farage has a secret plan to force women to become tradwives. It's usually the same people who have been saying for ten years that Trump (!) has the same secret plan, to which I can only say that if it is his secret plan he's done absolutely zip about it.

I just think that, if you're going to attack a political opponent, it makes more sense to criticise what they actually believe than to assume they're some kind of Bond villain and criticise what you'd like to believe they believe.

I reckon trump himself doesn’t give a shit about women either way, and is more than happy to use the support of the trad wives types (and various other suppression of the rights of women) , who are unfortunately a significant force in US politics.
That power base simply doesn’t exist in the same way in the U.K.

SionnachRuadh · 04/09/2025 14:34

I'm not sure that there really is a big tradwife scene over there. You can get the impression that something is statistically significant because Louis Theroux makes a programme about it.

It doesn't really fit any Republican women I've encountered, who seem to terrify their husbands.

As it happens (I swear I didn't put him up to it!) Gareth Roberts has the cover of this week's Spectator on the campness of Reform.

Back onto the Greens Mothin's previous comments on Hamas violence have emerged which has led to further calls for his dismissal. Going to be an ongoing story one suspects rather more serious than the Hypno Boobs issue.
:
Michael Deacon
The Green’s new leader is a menace, but his deputy worries me most of all
If Zack Polanski defends the arrest of Graham Linehan for his social media posts, does he think Mothin Ali should have been arrested too?

Zack Polanski on R4 any questions tonight.

Lalgarh · 05/09/2025 20:55

Asked on what. UK troops would do if Russia attacked a peacekeeping patrol In Ukraine.

Starts off by complaining that Starmer didn't congratulate him on his appointment as leader unlike for Kemi badenoch and says NATO should be reformed from within and go nuclear free. Then Britain should form new alliances away from Donald trump BC he's a racist who's renamed the defense department the war department

ArabellaScott · 05/09/2025 20:58

Hes not a serious person. I'm getting the same vibe as the SNP playing at international pretendy politicking.

I'm convinced.

Putin will be shaking in his boots.

Lalgarh · 05/09/2025 21:05

At least it's not the ministry of peace. It's weirdly more honest to call it the war department

SionnachRuadh · 05/09/2025 21:21

I think Zack pays too much attention to American lefties who insist on calling the Gulf of America by its deadname

Starmer did mention Zack at PMQs not much of a welcome - A leader who has made some very strange comments about women.

Is that a slighting reference to Hypno boobs or more daring against TWAW? Take your bets.

SionnachRuadh · 06/09/2025 19:08

It's a similar problem as Respect, except trans wasn't a big deal back then. The real faultline in Respect was between the arrogance of the then SWP leadership, with John Rees thinking he was the great mucketymuck pulling George Galloway's strings, and Galloway asking pointed questions about what exactly Rees was doing all day.

But there was an interesting thing when they ran council candidates in Tower Hamlets and Newham. In each three-seat ward there would be two Bengali candidates and one (overwhelmingly white) SWP candidate. The Bengali candidates consistently got at least 20% more votes, and none of the Trots were elected.

Adnan Hussain's Blackburn has a Muslim electorate north of 40%. Show me a constituency that's 40% trans and non-binary.

ArabellaScott · 06/09/2025 19:27

There may be constituencies that are 40% elite omnicause bubble, though.

SionnachRuadh · 06/09/2025 19:28

True dat. But I would guess there are more Blackburns out there than Brighton Pavilions.

ArabellaScott · 06/09/2025 19:29

I suppose genderism v islamists could be the purity spiral to end them all, though. Unstoppable force of pure genderwhang meets immovable object of religious conviction...

Probably Tower Hamlets according to the census 😂

Close! According to the census Newham has the highest trans population in the UK. I invite the ONS bureaucrats to visit Newham some day and ask themselves if their question wasn't well designed for people with poor English.
