Read again. The majority of Facebook responses were not supportive.

Most of which were saying they would not attend the rally due to these chants.

I have no idea whether those on the rally are supportive or not, if they're chanting as instructed we.can assume they support the statements, no?

Because they know deep down their mothers would whoop their arses for being so rude and disrespectful.

Goodness, what inarticulate nonsense they spew.

Don't be silly. Having a good laugh at people making fools of themselves is not hate. Hate used to be a very strong word that was rightly kept for really extreme cases like murder or genocide. It was also used flippantly sometimes, but nobody described remarks borne out of mild irration and exasperation as hate.

And the strip searching permission and arresting/NCHI-ing people for suffragette ribbons and asking what sex someone is. And turning a blind eye to incitement to murder.

"APART from all that, what have the police ever done for us!?"

And some people still say that thinking you're the opposite sex isn't a mental health issue 🤷‍♂️

I am not sure the general populace actually shares the same level of mindless vindictive hatred of the police as exhibited by people who spend too much time on American websites, and accordingly most people may not be easily swayed by anti-police slogans that seem, at best, tangentially connected to the main political goal.
