I see this argument and comment more and more the last few weeks and hugely over the last 3 days.

This statement, and the comments underneath it absolutely baffle me.

The approach, one that I am sure will only work with a minority of the people who said TWAW, is to undermine the definition of words, yet again, and deliberately cloud the water when it comes to speaking clearly and using terms that everyone agrees with

I have seen it said in more places than Reddit however, and by respected people

It's not the estrogen it's what's in the brain matter.

Its nothing to do with estrogen, nothing at all.

It's about feeling like a woman. That's it, that's the only thing.

The sooner it's linked to mental health rather than physical health the better. We don't pander to any other type of delusions whether it's religious, anorexia, or "I am Napoleon" although I sometimes wonder if it's deeply rooted in sexism. If more women had stated this originally it would have been described as mass hysteria (like the satanic sacrifices a few decades ago) but because it was mostly men in the beginning... well, men are NEVER hysterical are they?

Geez - TWAW all over my LinkedIn pages. There is a brilliantly eloquent guy who is obviously spending all his time refuting this and very patiently explaining on every post that sex is biologically determined and no, the Supreme Court judgement has not taken away any rights from trans people .

@TangenitalContrivance There’s no sense in stupidity and there’s a lot of stupidity about tw issues/protections from women people I’d previously thought were far from stupid. 🙉. It’s both infuriating and terrifying to see how far removed some people’s views are from reality; no facts, no evifence, no logic.

In the past, we wouldn't have gone into an asylum and argued with people. We no longer have these kinds of institutions and we have social media now. The fact that delusions are aired publicly now is no reason to now start to engage with them. The SC's clarification of what sex is should never have needed to happen, and the fact that it did is precisely because some people gave the time of day to the delusions and overreaching of a section of society.

The trans delusion and those it has captured are not going to give up their raison d'être overnight. However, after the Supreme Court ruling, we can now roll our eyes and walk away with absolutely no need to even pay lip service to delusional humans.

I still can’t quite believe that we can now say this and KNOW that the courts would confirm it, if tested 🥂

I think anyone who believes that a serial rapist should be locked up with women is a terrible human. Or someone who thinks rape victims should re-frame their trauma to ignore traumatising situations is terrible. Or people who think exposed penises in changing rooms where young girls are getting changed are terrible. I guess it’s all about perspective.
