Sandie Peggie, a nurse at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy (VH), has brought claims in the employment tribunal against her employer; Fife Health Board (the Board) and another employee, Dr B Upton. Ms Peggie’s claims are of sexual harassment, harassment related to a protected belief, indirect discrimination and victimisation. Dr Upton claims to be a transwoman, that is observed as male at birth but asserting a female gender identity.

The Employment Tribunal hearing started on Monday 3 February 2025 and is expected to continue for 2 weeks. The hearing commenced with Sandie Peggie giving evidence. Dr Beth Upton started giving evidence on Thursday 6 February.

Access to view the hearing remotely can be obtained by sending an email request to [email protected] headed Public Access Request (Peggie v Fife Health Board) 4104864/2024 and requesting access.

Fuck the sensitivities afforded SP last week from JR:

themostspecialelfintheworkshop · 10/02/2025 12:05

Please Judge tell JR to SHUT UP and STOP INTERRUPTING!

chilling19 · 10/02/2025 12:05

Judge - yes we haven't got to the question !

ickky · 10/02/2025 12:05

NC yes let's have another try at the question.

Halsall · 10/02/2025 12:05

Manifesto incoming from DU

themostspecialelfintheworkshop · 10/02/2025 12:05

So pete can just say i'm a woman and then he's in?

Boiledbeetle · 10/02/2025 12:05

Du with a very rehearsed statement there

EasternStandard · 10/02/2025 12:06

No medical or surgical treatment

Well played NC

CriticalCondition · 10/02/2025 12:06

DU Medical or surgical treatment does not make a difference.

ArabellaScott · 10/02/2025 12:06

NC: Let's have another go.

You haven't said about medical/surgical treatment.

You dont' think medical treatment makes difference>

BU_ trans identity not contingent on medical treatment/ much same cis woman with hysterectomy not disallowed from using bathroom

NC -

Signalbox · 10/02/2025 12:06

I want to scream.

Melroses · 10/02/2025 12:06

Maybe Naomi should cut out the middle man and just question JR ............?

Gallstoned · 10/02/2025 12:06

“I think that’s a no” 😂

bumbledenbarsk · 10/02/2025 12:06

Hysterectomies being cited now. Get in the f'ing bin.

RobinEllacotStrike · 10/02/2025 12:06

wow DrU is a fully paid up top notch indoctrinated cult member isn't he?

mzdemeanour · 10/02/2025 12:06

I couldn't hear but did he just bring up the hysterectomy thing?

EasternStandard · 10/02/2025 12:06

bumbledenbarsk · 10/02/2025 12:06

Hysterectomies being cited now. Get in the f'ing bin.

Ha yes

Appalonia · 10/02/2025 12:06

God he can't even answer a simple yes or no question without making it into a political speech!

GCITC · 10/02/2025 12:06

Melroses · 10/02/2025 12:06

Maybe Naomi should cut out the middle man and just question JR ............?

😂

ArabellaScott · 10/02/2025 12:07

NC - you haven't said whether or not -

Judge - careful with lawyer qus

NC - you haven't said whether you hold a GRC. WE can conclude you don't think that makes the difference

BU - I don't think a GRC is required for GI to be validated, or respected

Boiledbeetle · 10/02/2025 12:07

Doesn't believe GRC needed to be validated and respected

VeggPatch · 10/02/2025 12:07

JR's outbursts aren't helping, they've only allowed NC to now say three times instead of once that DU hasn't told the tribunal of any medical or surgical treatment.

Appalonia · 10/02/2025 12:07

He's like a trans AI Bot!

StellaAndCrow · 10/02/2025 12:07

DrU - medical treatment doesn't make a difference (to TW in changing room) in the same way that women who've had hysterectomy wouldn't be thrown out a changing room?

CriticalCondition · 10/02/2025 12:07

DU Don't believe a GRC is necessary for a trans persons id to be recognised or respected.
