I think males should be banned from female sport and anyone should be allowed to enter the male / open category. The US President has just signed an executive order saying this.

Females need their own sports for reasons of fairness, competitiveness and safety. I am glad that orders like this make it easier to talk about these issues without being called a biggot.

Everyone deserves fair opportunities, women and girls are under represented in sport, this can only help that get a little better.

Transgender sports people also clearly deserve opportunities to participate in sport and so trans women and men should be allowed to enter male / open categories or have their own categories if needed.

I don't understand how they have come to their position. Do they understand the issues regarding fairness and safety etc. but believe that women (as ever) should place their needs below those of vulnerable transwomen (i.e. males) or have they made a converted effort to avoid being properly informed on the science so they can maintain their illusion that they are being righteous?

Does anyone know if athletes with DSDs are mentioned? Although I suspect they'll be very few undiagnosed in the US.

• be the same as men to keep jobs

That is reflected in the pregnancy and maternity the US has. Leave to recover from producing the next generation is unpaid.
The social fund women pay into fails to provide for a financial need that only women will have.

Having babies is "bad" because someone (women) have to grow them someone (mainly women) has to raise them until they become (hopefully) productive members of the community. The community dont want to share the cost and see the woman as not being a productive member of the community as it is not a "job" just something which any(onlywoman)one can do.

This real biological difference is clearly not being the same as a man. Men can get an education and a job and a career and sex without having to worry about growing and raising babies.

What is "stunning and brave" about a man removing himself from the social class man to the social class woman. Is it when you class women as less? So its not a hero being brave for winning is it?

Men have a clear physical advantage so in sports women are not as good as men nor are women the same as men.

Women are in the paid workforce and use birth control so its a choice between a male type career path or a female type career path.

In sports women dont even have that choice. They are not going to (or highly unlikely to) end up winning gold at 30 weeks.

A male body has a physical advantage.

So the next generations of women need to work out how to manage and value the stuff that men can not do in a way which uplifts women. To make the benchmark become woman focused by recognising that women are not men.

These women are determined to keep the benchmark as man.

Unless this is backed up with cheek swabs it is totally useless.
Many competitors who have failed eligibility testing for other competitions are still competing in women’s sport in the USA. These males with DSD are slipping through the net.

That is really interesting. I struggle so much to understand their position because it is so unfair to women, but I can see how they could try to justify it like this. I wonder what would make them change their perspective.
