I think males should be banned from female sport and anyone should be allowed to enter the male / open category. The US President has just signed an executive order saying this.

Females need their own sports for reasons of fairness, competitiveness and safety. I am glad that orders like this make it easier to talk about these issues without being called a biggot.

Everyone deserves fair opportunities, women and girls are under represented in sport, this can only help that get a little better.

Transgender sports people also clearly deserve opportunities to participate in sport and so trans women and men should be allowed to enter male / open categories or have their own categories if needed.

YANBU at all. It's a fact of life that we don't always get what we want, and I don't know how these (mostly grifting) men have not only pushed women aside but been supported to do so.

I agree but I wish this issue could be less partisan because I think a fair playing field and not causing one disadvantaged group to be supported at the expense of another is not a right wing thing but is a cross party thing and this association won't help people see that it's not about transphobia.

This is one of the things that made him popular during the election as people were tired of women sports being dominated by some men who can’t compete with their peers. I support this and trans people should have their own category as well, not try to push themselves into women sports.

I'm absolutely in favour of womens sport being reserved for biological women, because of the difference in male and female physique, stamina etc.

But male sports should also be reserved for biological males as I'll never support double standards.

Either there needs to be an open category, or trans people have to accept that they can't participate in gendered sports competitions.

This is actually a really good point. I hadn't realised it. A few years ago, someone would get cancelled/insulted etc for daring to say men are men. Now the person who said TWAW (outside of young students) would be laughed at. Thank goodness. About time.
