Does this information about Patreon and keychains mean that Khelif has now changed sex and is a woman?

No, still a man.

You're right the topic did change so we should get back to IF.

In the meantime it turns out Reduxx are based in Canada, and the possession and posting of bladed weapons is illegal there.

duc748 · 12/11/2024 01:01

Obviously only a matter of time before the RCMP cart them all off in chains, then.

Thought it was agreed we should get back to Imane.

Thought it was agreed we should get back to Imane.

Imane is in fact mentioned in the above PN article, at the bottom.

"Reduxx is notorious for its anti-trans reporting and opinion.
During this summer’s Olympics in Paris they shared claims about the biology of Algerian boxer and gold medal winner Imane Khelif.
The claims came from a leaked medical assessment, which alleged that Khelif underwent MRI scans and genetic testing. The final summary of the report concluded that Khelif was a cis woman – which Reduxx ignored."

SoiledMyselfDuringSomeTurbulence · 12/11/2024 15:52

A whole sentence. Meanwhile, its an article about something else, containing more material about that something else.

Beowulfa · 12/11/2024 15:52

Khelif failed an eligibility test for women's boxing. Khelif has not contested this by providing any counter evidence. If Khelif genuinely wants a career as a pro, questions will continue to be asked (especially by insurance providers).

Did Penis News quote Khelif's response to the mention of "trans"?

SoiledMyselfDuringSomeTurbulence · 12/11/2024 15:57

I always thought insurance might be the thing to take down some of the more obviously stupid XY in sports nonsense. Money talks, in a way that women's safety doesn't.

BalladOfBarry · 12/11/2024 16:09

Any mention of 'cis' women makes my teeth hurt.
Reason number 1 million why I won't be clicking on pink news.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 12/11/2024 16:29

A male with 5 Alpha Reductase Deficiency is in no sense a "cis woman" as genderists use the term and the report didn't use that ridiculous language.

As I posted on the thread in AIBU, the Algerian journalist who Reduxx quoted gave an interview to an Italian feminist website:

Italian interview with the journalist who obtained the leaked Khelif medical info. He's Algerian himself. Below is the translated text available on their website as well as the original.

https://feministpost.it/dal-mondo/khelif-e-maschio-sono-in-possesso-dei-sex-test-parla-il-giornalista-francese-che-ha-riaperto-il-caso/

THE two medical reports – French and Algerian – which the journalist came into possession of, later released by the feminist site Reduxx, reveal that Khelif has XY karyotype, internal testes, male testosterone levels and would be affected by 5-alpha reductase deficiency, (5 ADR), a disorder of sex development that is found only in biological males and sometimes leads to them being incorrectly classified as female at birth.

...

You say you have two medical reports confirming that Khelif has XY karyotype with DSD, 5-ARD. Are you absolutely sure that the documents are not fake?

«More than sure. 200 percent. These reports cannot be falsified, we have obtained them from reliable sources, well placed within the institutions. They come directly from the offices".

The news has reached Italy. In the Corriere della Sera for example they write that your investigation is a hoax. The endocrinologists Soumaya Fedala and Jacques Young, whom you cite, are not aware of the facts.

«They are lying. Let them provide me with a single statement from Young in which he says he did not know about these reports. An article in Libération reports that the Hopitaux de Paris has confirmed the existence of the report. And it is absolutely impossible to deny its existence: the one in Paris bears a number composed of several numbers. In any case, If Khelif goes ahead the courts will want to check our documents, so they will have to ask the hospitals for them. The fact that the Corriere journalist does not know me is normal. We have not frequented the same places. I have not met him in the Balkans or in Afghanistan or anywhere else where one braves danger for a news story. I am not one of those journalists who reinvent the news behind their desks, waiting for the lunch break, to gorge themselves on a delicious plate of spaghetti and “bufala”. I ran after the human being wherever I found him, to tell his story with sincerity, humility and empathy. Why does Corriere publish such an article without checking the veracity of the information? There is no honesty or rigor».

Ereshkigalangcleg · 12/11/2024 16:40

He is now suing for libel himself after publications said his investigation was "fake news" .

UtopiaPlanitia · 12/11/2024 16:44

I don’t blame him Eresh, his professional reputation as a journalist has been impugned by people who don’t care about the truth and are casting muck around for ideological reasons.

Is that what he's suing for? Thanks for confirming. I wonder if he'd consider doing it in other jurisdictions too, since the comment would've been read elsewhere.

nauticant · 12/11/2024 17:06

You pick the most advantageous jurisdiction for your case. You demonstrate the strength of your case to the other side there. You then settle for all jurisdictions.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 12/11/2024 18:49

Is that what he's suing for?

Sorry it's apparently Khelif's lawyer who said it was fake so that's who he is suing.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 12/11/2024 19:05

And IK themselves.

Pink News, eh? Shall we ask Stormfront for their views on Israel? They might be a bit more balanced.

N.B. - do NOT google Stormfront.
