To be honest, I'm glad nobody in healthcare has tied themselves in knots trying to accommodate them and get personalised advice - they've just gone for the check box approach.

You can tell that it was male and female until someone complained and they stuck this in to placate them. If a NB person genuinely thinks they can eat differently to their sex class, there are bigger problems at play.
