KJK Live streams being sacked from her GPs surgery - trans staff member

HootyMcBooby · 19/07/2024 17:15

Forward to 19.15 for the actual phone call.

KJK confrontation with trans staff member at her GPs surgery.

This ideology has no place in the NHS.
As someone whose Mother, aged 72, had a stroke and waited in an NHS corridor on a trolley for 16 hours only to be asked as the doctors FIRST question....... "how do you identify?", I feel the NHS is captured beyond hope,

I've had to leave my GP surgery due to an activist working there. #LWS #LetWomenSpeak #LWSLocals

I used to put 'Ms' on letters so that people knew I was female. I now realise I should have let them think I might be male.

i have done that (pretend to be male) to see the difference in wording/behaviour. was an interesting experiment.

Nope - can’t find it a single post from you that says you don’t condone her actions.

But there are lots where you appear to be sharing justification for those actions.

I did find one where you said you didn’t agree with KJK “swearing at the staff members.” Which is ironic given your latest stretch, being that she didn’t swear at the receptionist.

Read harder, I've said it at LEAST 3 times.

OP posts:
HootyMcBooby · 21/07/2024 22:02

And WHERE, pray, did I say that I AGREED with her swearing at the staff member?

OP posts:
HootyMcBooby · 21/07/2024 22:09

1 "I don't for one minute condone KJK swearing or handling the situation as she did "
2 "I don't agree with her swearing at the staff members "

3 "Like I have said MANY times upthread, no, I don't condone her actions."

And one post from me that was deleted which also said the same thing.

Definitely stuff getting made up on this thread for sure......
Try harder.

Naming the surgery is a particularly egregious move.

Judging from Twitter comments, they’re now getting calls and emails in volume and having to deal with all that.

Feels bad for the patients who will wait longer as a result, or not be able to get through on the phone. And then the staff members involved need time off, that impacts too.

GP practices are subcontracted to deliver NHS services, and most are running on a knife edge financially as it is.

If local news picks this up, I doubt KJK will be gaining popularity with the neighbours for this stunt.

STILL going!
This thread is like the Duracell bunny.

KJ threads usually do, I'm just surprised "but she has lovely hair" hasn't popped up yet to fill my bingo card 😁

😥😡
That's disgusting if so

Topofthemountain · 21/07/2024 22:12

BeachParty · 21/07/2024 21:36

Yeah I’m sure the trans receptionist is impossible to identify since KJK live streamed (without consent) the name of the manager and surgery

Exactly, after this thread I looked on Twitter earlier and I saw she'd freely tweeted the name of the surgery.
Seriously not on.

Goodness her X post is certainly something to behold. That poor surgery having to deal with the influx of emails in the morning.

I guess the flipside of the TRA's using a 'TERF' blocker is that the pages of those they have blocked become echo chambers too.

Though, everybody has failed to see the bigger picture here, in that a) KJK actually managed to get a foot inside her surgery and b) someone rang her. That is something that should be celebrated.

Topofthemountain · 21/07/2024 22:13

X-posted there.

This must be the biggest bingo card known to man. Has anyone commented ever on her hair?! You learn a new thing every day.

I've not read the full thread but it seems to me that we should consider having such a strong reaction to the trans flag or trans symbolism. I have this myself; any time I see the pride flag I feel quite sad, if I see the progress pride one I actually physically flinch and avoid. This is because of what that flag represents and all the awful things that have happened over the past 6 years (and there have been a lot) as I've tried to stand up for women's rights, and I'm just an everyday woman following along - Posie must have this affect much more than me, she's travelled the world and been verbally and sometimes physically attacked almost everywhere. To see someone plastered with symbolism and access to you and your families medical records must be a horrible safeguarding worry which the surgery should address immediately. Being antagonistic and telling Posie that "everyone will be wearing these lanyards and badges soon" is absolutely chilling and irresponsible of the practice manager.

@Topofthemountain “Though, everybody has failed to see the bigger picture here, in that a) KJK actually managed to get a foot inside her surgery and b) someone rang her. That is something that should be celebrated.”

LOL - yes!

I did think that too. Our GP is permanently locked doors and we have not set foot inside in at least two years.

i have done that (pretend to be male) to see the difference in wording/behaviour. was an interesting experiment.

My post obviously wasn't clear. I didn't mean that I thought I should have pretended to be male. I meant that I shouldn't have put a female title so that they might be unsure whether I was male or female.

Oh yes, repeatedly.

Indeed 😁

So in fact, having watched that video, what happened is…

KJK harassed a trans person in their place of work, and swore at them.

Then KJK called the surgery and said her family were now leaving the surgery (because they employed a trans person) and also swore at the person on the phone.

And in this video KJK specifically mentions child rape and pedophiles multiple times.

And she maintains two GPs at this surgery thanked her for what she does?!

Then calls for discrimination against trans and non binary people and says that employing them makes patients unsafe.

Then she takes a call on live broadcast without informing the caller, and harasses that person too and swears at them.

Then encourages people to protest at that specific surgery.

Slow hand clap.

I watched the whole broadcast and I really think this has to be reframed. It's not serious. It is stand-up comedy.
Once I got past the idea that it's not real, then it just becomes idiotic, surreal, and hilarious.

I was in stitches when the lady from the NHS told Kelly that all staff had to wear pronoun badges. Does Kelly write her own scripts?

It's not a fucking "safeguarding worry" don't be ridiculous.
That would be like me claiming male GPs at my surgery are a "safeguarding worry" due to my repeated abuse at the hands of men Confused
If she genuinely is that worried she needs psychological support because that's outside the realms of usual concerns.

Apologies.

I saw the second one (where you mention her swearing at more than one staff member)

Missed the first one - it’s hard to scan for one word through more than 30 lengthy OP posts but heck, I could have used find on page. Soz.

And missed the last one too, where you referenced the many (aka one) time you’d said you didn’t condone her actions.

Guess I just got swept along with the energy you’ve been giving to justifying and defending the actions you said you didn’t condone. You seemed so adamantly on side with it.

AgileGreenSeal · 21/07/2024 22:31

Absolutely correct.
Reality matters. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Toseland · 21/07/2024 22:34

Like I say - try to put yourself in Posie's shoes, of course it's a safeguarding worry!
Anyone wearing such blatent political paraphernalia at work may cause concern to other and opposing groups as trust is broken. But at the moment only one special group's feelings matter don't they?

BeachParty · 21/07/2024 22:37

Urgh, yes! So hard to get an appointment nowadays.
"Ring up at 8am!"

<duly do so>

"You are 22nd in the queue. Please hold."

<hold but starting to lose the will to live after just under half an hour>

Finally get through - "I'm sorry, all appointments have gone for today.. Can you ring back tomorrow?! Ad infinitum

Head meet desk 😭
actual true story

Anyways, that's a whole different thread and rant lol

Wumblewimble · 21/07/2024 22:37

I'm glad the surgery will be inundated with emails protesting at KJKs treatment. People in charge need to see that imposing pronouns and trans agenda is not popular with the majority of the population.

I'm bloody not. People want treating, they want a doctor's appointment.
It's hard enough trying to get through without people clogging the phone lines up crying about sodding pronoun badges or diverting attention away with emails!

Nope. I'm not adamantly on-side with it at all.
I've never condoned HOW she went about it but I understand WHY she did it.

I agree with the points she was making, if I don't agree fully with how she went about it.
I am "adamant" that gender ideology of any kind and the associated trans flag/lanyards/posters and pronoun badges (which absolutely are part of this ideology) have zero place in the NHS or any healthcare setting.
i am "adamant" that people should not be gaslit and told that a woman is a man, and told to use certain language and "corrected" when they use biological and correct terms to describe someone.

That's it.
