KJK Live streams being sacked from her GPs surgery - trans staff member

Forward to 19.15 for the actual phone call.

KJK confrontation with trans staff member at her GPs surgery.

This ideology has no place in the NHS.
As someone whose Mother, aged 72, had a stroke and waited in an NHS corridor on a trolley for 16 hours only to be asked as the doctors FIRST question....... "how do you identify?", I feel the NHS is captured beyond hope,

I've had to leave my GP surgery due to an activist working there. #LWS #LetWomenSpeak #LWSLocals

That KJK person clearly is a piece of work.

Yeah there’s definitely no transphobia on this board at all.

I believe in biology, not feelings.

CassieMaddox · 19/07/2024 20:07

  1. supporting their trans staff doesn't mean the "doctors think people can change sex"
  2. nothing is stopping you changing doctors

What do you think 'trans' means?

If the staff at the surgery didn't think the receptionist had changed sex, why were they all insisting on referring to her as a man?

Men are male. Women are female. If a woman thinks she's a man, she must think she's changed sex.

I believe in biology, not feelings.

That’s nice, but does not excuse or justify transphobia towards people doing in their workplace.

WinkyMcFlapFace · 19/07/2024 21:09

Yeah there’s definitely no transphobia on this board at all.

It's not "transphobia". Women are simply refusing to validate or accept the delusion that someone can become "trans". It's not possible to change sex.

Women won't be pretending otherwise and frankly, I am sick of society treading on eggshells about this and I'm sick of the hysterical bleating of rabid men who think that they can call themselves Women and then encroach on women's spaces.

Biological reality and biological fact should not be controversial. I'm sorry men and transmaidens are triggered by this but no amount of fuss from them will ever change biological reality.

women should not be forced to participate in someone else's delusion or be compelled to alter their own speech or thoughts to suit the whims of men or anyone else

Is your dedication to never forcing anyone to alter their speech to suit others universal? If a man insisted on calling every woman on staff bitch and insisted that's just his belief, is that fine as well? We can't force him to alter his speech to suit the whims of anyone else after all.

Your beliefs exist inside your own brain; no one can force you to change them. But there are restrictions on how you can speak to and treat others without consequences, because actions are not beliefs.

Do you even hear yourself? The hyperbole is ridiculous.

This was a trans person just doing their job on reception.

In a way it’s good to see this board drop the shallow pretence that trans people are welcome to live their lives so long as they stay out of women’s spaces.

Bring it on, say what you actually mean.

Which in this case seems to be that trans people should not work on reception and deserve to be publicly abused, lumped in with child rapists, and have KJK summon up protestors to harass them at work some more if they do.

HootyMcBooby · 19/07/2024 22:12

Once again, for the hard of thinking, it's not the presence of the trans person that was the problem.
It was the presence of the ideological nonsense in a medical setting.

I am sorry if you are so upset by biological reality, but nothing is going to change that. I won't participate in your delusion that changing sex is possible. Nor can you force me or anyone else to alter our speech to suit your version of reality. If "trans" is real to you that's fine and I hope you live your life in peace but I won't be validating it or going along with the pretense.

TediousMansplainer · 19/07/2024 22:15

I think KJK explains her views very clearly here at 15:47 - "You cannot employ somebody who claims to be non binary or trans, or a non binary or trans ally. You can't because your whole workplace is ruined".

OriginalUsername2 · 19/07/2024 22:17

I fully agree that the badges should be kept out of the workplace and that no-one should lose their dignity by having to play pretend or have access to healthcare revoked over being gender critical.

I think she weakened her argument by bringing elderly patients, children with lukemia, etc into it. And also “What if I had cancer? What if I had a smear and had to look at a fucking pronoun badge?” - I don’t understand what all this is about.

Then she is also angry about this person having access to her an her children’s records. Is this because she’s KJK or because she thinks this woman is a danger in some other way? It’s unclear.

I wish she had stuck to the fact that the pronoun badges are inappropriate in a workplace. It’s also inappropriate to be shouting and swearing at a receptionist, however much of a weirdo they are. As much as I agree with her, it just doesn’t help.

Bitch is an insult when applied to humans. Woman is not an insult, it’s the correct word for an adult human female.

I haven't watched the video, but if this is what was said, then this is non-defensible.

I wish people would take a more nuanced approach when it came to KJK, she sometimes does cross a line and should be called out on it.

Justwrong68 · 19/07/2024 22:24

The comparison with the crucifix is interesting. If the staff were wearing lanyards with big crosses and the bunting covered in them, there would be uproar and not just on MN

Seriously - read that back and tell yourself with a straight face that you’re not expressing prejudice.

That video is out and proud encouraging transphobia - directly prejudicial treatment of trans people going about their everyday lives.

And here’s FWR, reliably cheerleading obvious transphobia, spreading the word and whipping up the faithful.

To which the man replies that it is his sincere belief that all women are bitches, sinful, weak and vicious by nature. Just like you believe that a trans woman is a man and calling them anything else is forcing you to participate in someone else's delusion, this man believes that forcing him to call a woman anything but bitch is forcing him to participate in your delusion that women can be anything but bitches.

Your beliefs are not the same as objective facts. They're your beliefs and protected only as your beliefs. What you call someone doesn't have the power to change them, so they're not under threat.

nutmeg7 · 19/07/2024 22:34

The difficulty seems to be that it is not sufficient for trans people not to be discriminated against in employment situations or provision of housing etc. (where the equality act applies).

It has also become a requirement that we all pretend to share (or actually share) the belief that it is possible to change sex. Most people do not really believe this when it comes down to a very direct conversation about it, but are often happy to be kind and polite in the company of a trans person, and not point this out.

This belief system can’t possibly be forced onto the whole population, so people with a trans identity will need to learn to accept they cannot control the thoughts and beliefs of others, and must find a way of realistically coming to terms with this limitation of the real world.

People who don’t share your beliefs don’t hate you, they just don’t agree with you. If this is psychologically devastating (and I can see it might be if you rely on external validation from every person you meet to make you feel ok) then some psychological help is needed.

If the trans community just keep pushing and insisting that everyone must believe the theory that a person’s sex is not physical reality but some sort of undefinable metaphysical construct, people will eventually get fed up of being bossed about, and will withdraw the goodwill that most people tend to extend as part of natural politeness and courtesy.

I watched it - it’s properly shocking how explicitly prejudiced it is.

Even having seen KJK evolve from Posie Parker years back, and knowing how she plays to the crowd, it’s shocking to see how far she’s gone over the line.

I do wonder whether KJK defenders are actually watching and listening all the way through - or if they’re just in a blind habit of supporting anything she says.

Your agenda is very clear. KJK doesn't post here, she was banned long ago. Many women here support her, to a greater or lesser extent, some fully agree with her on this specific issue, some don't, some wince and think she could have worded it better, some are just sick of all the tribal bollocks. It's not up to us what she says, take it up with her.

SugarandSpiceandAllThingsNaice · 19/07/2024 22:42

Christian jewellery does not compel people to use required (forced) pronouns, nor does it stand for an ideology which advocates sterilising children, and eroding women's rights.”

That very much depends upon which brand of Christianity you are referring to as the biggest one, Catholicism, is very patriarchal and not big on women’s rights. Coptic Christianity is a big practitioner of FGM. The evangelical right in the Americas is like Gilead in handmaids tale.

You really didn’t think your cut and paste through before hitting post.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 19/07/2024 22:43

Apologies Windy, meant to quote you.
