KJK Live streams being sacked from her GPs surgery - trans staff member

Forward to 19.15 for the actual phone call.

KJK confrontation with trans staff member at her GPs surgery.

This ideology has no place in the NHS.
As someone whose Mother, aged 72, had a stroke and waited in an NHS corridor on a trolley for 16 hours only to be asked as the doctors FIRST question....... "how do you identify?", I feel the NHS is captured beyond hope,

I've had to leave my GP surgery due to an activist working there. #LWS #LetWomenSpeak #LWSLocals

I daresay that if the trans person has been wearing the ideological badges and KJK bumped into her in a queue at the supermarket, she would probably have done the internal eye-roll everyone on here spoke about and went about her day.

The problem is that this person, as KJK sees it, is in a front facing NHS role promoting gender ideology.
That's what her issue is as I see it.

So just to clarify then OP, you’re totally OK with KJK’s actions here?

BeachParty · 21/07/2024 21:27

Yeah, again, nobody's actually doing that though. 🙄
I'd say I'm GC in a way, as I don't think you can literally change sex.
I have absolutely no problem with trans people going about their business, just doing their job.
Just "being" in public.
No-one should be harassed for that.
Some clearly do. Hence this thread.
Doesn't mean everyone's the same 😕

This is a quote by a poster - ‘I used to be GC but failed the purity tests because I’m all good with preferred pronouns, and trans people having jobs, and children and places to live.’

Explain how this is the ‘GC position’.

I also agree with - I have absolutely no problem with trans people going about their business, just doing their job.
Just "being" in public.
No-one should be harassed for that

I actually just care mainly about males being in women’s spaces, and the enforcement of a potentially dangerous ideology. I don’t agree with medicalising confused children. I can’t be doing with throwaway comments like ‘I used to be GC but now I’m the anti GC brigade because of KJK’, but they’ll pull you up on anything they deem to be literal, despite doing this themselves.

BeachParty · 21/07/2024 21:36

Yeah I’m sure the trans receptionist is impossible to identify since KJK live streamed (without consent) the name of the manager and surgery

Exactly, after this thread I looked on Twitter earlier and I saw she'd freely tweeted the name of the surgery.
Seriously not on.

she manufactured an issue to be able to generate clicks to her channels.

that’s literally her game.

she should have done the eye roll but decided instead to bully someone just doing their job.

Like I have said MANY times upthread, no, I dont condone her actions.
Why are you so determined to put words into people's mouths?

Promoting gender ideology? They were just wearing a badge with their pronouns on.

I remember when teachers covering homosexuality in sex ed lessons were accused of 'promoting' it. It was a stupid accusation then, save it's a stupid one now.

It’s exhausting eh.

WinkyMcFlapFace · 21/07/2024 21:39

@AccidentallyWesAnderson if we’re pinning people down on exact words, how about you link to that imaginary post of someone saying they think KJK should DIE

While we’re waiting , let me spell out for you that my comment on the GC position related to KJK’s oft stated position - that being the topic of this thread. Awfully sorry it wasn’t clear to you. Didn’t think I’d need to explain as it seemed obvious in the context.

This has literally got nothing to do with the thread though.
Why are you bringing men and children into it?!
KJ said the receptionist was female.
It's just discrimination against all trans people at this point.

It was an exaggeration, a mockery if you will of the constant stretchness of posters such as yourself. Sorry I had to explain that. Again.

Nope, sorry.

Pronoun badges are absolutely linked to the whole trans ideology, don't be so disingenuous.

It's the epitome of promoting you believe in this ideology 🤯

I'm not being disingenuous.

This was a trans person, who KJK mocked for not looking like a man, who was wearing a badge indicating their pronouns.
Expressing who you are, is not 'promoting' an ideology.

AccidentallyWesAnderson · 21/07/2024 21:46

and going into the GP to cause a scene and manufacture outrage isn’t disingenuous? pronouns are just language - they aren’t exclusive to trans people. some of us have them on our emails for example because we have names commonly used by both men and women.

so where do they need to be worn? where do you feel it would be appropriate to wear?

HPFA · 21/07/2024 21:48

BeachParty · 21/07/2024 21:07

This thread is encouraging at least, much more dissenting views on this one than I've seen in the past where nothing short of idolising got piled on.
Nothing good can come of identity politics where you worship people, which some people seem to do.

I certainly found myself checking out from the boards not just because a fair few posters were clearly heading towards undeniable transphobia but also because it became exhausting to deal with people who just seemed utterly delusional. I found myself explaining time and again that if KJK stood as a candidate against Starmer in Holborn that wouldn't give her an entree to "debate" him.

You can't be a serious political movement if you can't recognise reality. I think Stonewall has done a lot of harm to trans people by not recognising that some battles, in female sport and prisons, are unwinnable. Likewise KJK cultists who think there are millions of women just waiting to rise up and light the bonfires with Pride flags and pronoun badges.

Nope - can’t find it a single post from you that says you don’t condone her actions.

But there are lots where you appear to be sharing justification for those actions.

I did find one where you said you didn’t agree with KJK “swearing at the staff members.” Which is ironic given your latest stretch, being that she didn’t swear at the receptionist.

Omlettes · 21/07/2024 21:50

They never need to be worn. They serve no purpose.

WinkyMcFlapFace · 21/07/2024 21:51

@HPFA agree on this

” I think Stonewall has done a lot of harm to trans people by not recognising that some battles, in female sport and prisons, are unwinnable. ”

And more than them being unwinnable, they’re just completely wrong-headed. Bio men should not be in women’s prisons or sports at all.

Alwaystired94 · 21/07/2024 21:53

OldCrone · 21/07/2024 21:51

i was asking that specific PP due to their wording.

and i’ve already stated one purpose FYI. it’s just language.

At a trans convention.

i agree with you so much.

there are insane positions but i think KJK and others like her are weirdly confident that there are many women silently agreeing with them - which doesn’t seem to be the case. No biological male should be in female prisons - and vice versa. Stonewall have done a lot of good over the years but these situations are not hills they should die on.

I used to put 'Ms' on letters so that people knew I was female. I now realise I should have let them think I might be male.
