FFS disability is now on the pride flag

I'm livid. I'm disabled and I do not want to be represented on the LGBTQ+ flag.

What happens if someone isn't 'included'?

Do you support the lesbians who were kicked out of Pride then , for saying men can't be lesbians?

I'm uncomfortable about it as it almost looks like they are creating a sub category for disabled attracted. It looks to me as though it's fetising disabilities. Frankly the flag has so many different colours and agendas, that no one really knows what they all mean.

Then get off your arse and campaign and do the work to get it included. Don't get all upset when other people do that and get what they want included.

It's like the men moaning that other people don't do enough to celebrate international mens day while they do nothing about it themselves, just wait for others to do it for them.

The flag now looks as though it was designed by a corporate board, with no one daring to suggest that while it’s possible to amalgamate everyone’s suggestions, from an aesthetic point of view, less would definitely be more.

Incidentally, I have a disability and my DD has SEN. Neither of us need a flipping flag.

Celebrating “diversity”? Not really though: certainly not diversity of opinion? What you seem to be saying is that Gay, queer and disabled people are one homogeneous mass, which they aren’t.

Pride and everything about it is a joke, including that monstrosity of a flag.
Neither myself or my friends have attended a Pride event in about 5 years now.
The LGB has been totally lost, it's all about the 'others'.

Disability is not a sexuality.

Pride was started to raise awareness and fight for the legal rights of Gay and lesbians.

When you add everything in to the mix it dilutes what the original purpose was for. It’s a fucking joke now and actually really offensive.
