JKR nails it as always. She’s amazing how she can articulate everything I feel about Labour. That question on Rosie Duffield was Starmer’s chance to redeem himself and get my X but he blew it. He sees women talking about female biology as cruel and exclusionary witches, far worse than the men in masks who literally attack, intimidate, and threaten women. Count the gender-critical women who’ve behaved violently towards trans rights activists. I can’t think of a single one, yet it’s women who are painted as the awful poisonous hags stirring up the pot.
The men in masks can’t help it, of course, they’re only angry because the nasty toxic women dared to say no to them. If the women had been kind in the first place, we’d all be hunky dory. We’d have no women’s sport or single-sex spaces or language to define the female experience but that’s ok because at least we’d have been kind, giving, and compliant, and we wouldn’t have hurt anyone’s feelings.
No. You be kind, Keir. It’s your turn.
