KJK supports Trump

1000 replies

NefertitiV · 31/05/2024 02:36

After the Trump verdict today, KJK retweeted three supportive tweets to her timeline, including one from US ex-Fox host Megyn Kelly that says "Guilty on all counts. The country is disgraced. Alvin Bragg should be disbarred. They will rue the day they released this lawfare to corrupt a presidential election."

Another tweet makes fun of President Biden's stutter.

This is someone currently up for election herself. Given her recent remarks about barring rentals to all trans people, and the fact she has received funding from US conservative political groups, does this concern you?

Your hubris to think you can state who in the world can discuss American politics and who can't...you must be busy on twitter...

Oh sweetie, you go ahead and talk
American politics all you want. I have no desire to stop you. Or stop KJK for that matter. She can spout all her stupid support of Trump she wants. And I'm not on X. Don't even have an account.

One more thing, KJK can fuck off with her support of Trump. She's not an American and I don't care what she says about our politics because she's not voting here and her hubris in thinking she has a right to influence American politics is laughable and also obnoxious.

She doesn't think this. It's only people on here thinking she does.

I'm very relieved for you.
There is lots of hubris and people with views on Trump you wouldn't like.

You'd probably explode.

Hang on loads of people are talking about Trump

On the radio, here and I bet in many countries

She didn't tweet support either.

Her broadcast earlier talked about this.

Hopefully she also doesn't have a radio.

Her earrings are one of the most powerful radio transmitters in western Europe, to the point that Zelensky has asked for them as part of the next tranche of military assistance.

Two can play at that game.

KJK is a UK parliamentary candidate. What gives you the right to influence UK politics?

PeppercornMill · 31/05/2024 17:59

CassieMaddox · 31/05/2024 16:42

That's a huge strawman.
Read OPs post again. It is nothing to do with "gender critical" and just about KJK. She asked a question, which you could answer without getting aerated about "guilt by association".

It's not a strawman, there are people like the original poster who are obsessed with KJK. I for instance don't see a thread about any other random woman which is "ABC supports Trump".

For TRAs the every move of KJK or JKR is an obsession and then they come on here to tell everyone how this is another example of how "bad" these people are.

Has ‘ABC’ set up a pollitical party that means lots of posters on MN have ‘someone to vote for’?

Delphinium20 · 31/05/2024 18:02

She DID tell us American women, when she went to visit with Kara Dansky in DC, that we were crazy not to vote for Trump. If you want, you can search my MN history where I vehemently disagreed with her assessment of our political landscape and resented her admonishing us over our votes. I feel the same way today on this issue and yes, fuck that Trump noise. There are many things to like about KJK but her Trump apologia is obnoxious af. I'm a woman expressing my opinion on another woman's US political opinions and fully knew I'd get backlash on MN for it. But you'll notice I don't go guns blazing in in your UK politics.

Sloejelly · 31/05/2024 18:05

Yet here you on a thread about UK elections and a particular candidate.

I'm the very same @Brooks11 I used to love this board. I hate it now. There were so many great people here. Not anymore though. The main posters here use TRA tactics and they don't care about truth. in fact they seem more interested in defending KJK than anything else

Roughly when was it that you last used to love this board? 🤔 Accusing the main posters of TRA tactics is a rather odd view?

CassieMaddox · 31/05/2024 18:13

Honestly. Check KJK twitter. Then check the twitter of PoW nominating officer Paul Duddridge (also interesting why KJK picked a Trumpian man who lives in the USA and boasts he can make anyone famous as her nominating officer).
Her admiration for Trump is clear. And populist, neo Fascist politics in general actually.

She's like the right wing, GC version of L'OJ. We have plenty of threads about him on here too.

What I think they mean is that we debate and question robustly, which they don't like (and claim we're doing to try to shut them up and scare them off). Seemingly they can't take disagreement and arguments to the contrary.

She may politically admire Trump.

The point of the thread is whether that requires all other GC feminists to denounce her.

Or whether they can accept she has different views on Trump than them and still agree with her on other things.

MyOleMan · 31/05/2024 18:23

I liked this board from roughly 2018 until around 2022 @mrshoho why do you want to know? It's not an odd view to accuse people of TRA tactics. It's increasingly common here

You do know KJK has done LWS events in the US? She appears very friendly with Allison Snyder on Twitter, with Snyder publicising her US events heavily. Snyder is a member of Republican group "Moms for Liberty".

Plus of course the CPAC funding.

I can see why someone concerned about Trump/MAGA links might be aware of KJK.

I agree with Trump that Scotland is a great country.
Doesn't mean i would ever vote for him or anyone that endorsed him as a great leader. The man is an absolute crazed narcissist.

They might be aware of KJK but it is very hypocritical to complain about her commenting on American politics on a thread discussing her election campaign

Oh so that timescale when our words and opinions on this board were being heavily censored? Was that when we weren't allowed to state trans women are men? When we couldn't say that transition of children is abuse?

Yes what TRA tactics are you referring to please.

Much better to discuss areas of agreement and disagreement than declare some people as just Bad and demand others must therefore denounce them.

It's the self righteousness in the Good/ Bad claims that's so worn out now.
