After the Trump verdict today, KJK retweeted three supportive tweets to her timeline, including one from US ex-Fox host Megyn Kelly that says "Guilty on all counts. The country is disgraced. Alvin Bragg should be disbarred. They will rue the day they released this lawfare to corrupt a presidential election."

Another tweet makes fun of President Biden's stutter.

This is someone currently up for election herself. Given her recent remarks about barring rentals to all trans people, and the fact she has received funding from US conservative political groups, does this concern you?

I wasn't talking about retweets @NoWordForFluffy , I was talking about kjk's statement that transitioning children is abusive. It's an ambiguous statement and the discussion on this thread exposed the ambiguity.

Are you in the US or the UK? If you are in the UK I'd be quite surprised if you didn't think the Conservatives were the epitome of batshit, what with Liz Truss and Party gate etc. USA may be different but I don't really follow their politics. Or Aus, if you are there.

Personally I think a kamikaze budget that caused a financial meltdown and cost everyone £££ in the middle of an existing cost of living crisis was the most batshit but each to their own.

I am also not bothered about people being right wing. In fact I think the fact that Trump winds me up so effectively is that he has zero of the traditional right wing values - he's not socially or economically conservative in the slightest and I think what has happened to the GOP is a disgrace.

I'm an American and Trump's recently convicted crimes-for things he did before he was president-are just the tip of the iceberg of why I think that man is awful. During his presidency, he instituted a policy (April or May of 2018 I believe) that separated children from their parents at the border. Some of these children the US government has essentially lost - we have no data what became of them. And then there was the stacking of the courts which overthrew Roe v. Wade. There are many other things, including cozying up to dictators. There's also Dem vs GOP policy issues like healthcare where Dems overwhelmingly provide better access for women and children. Remember, we don't have the NHS.

True, I hate that the Democrats seem confused over what a woman is, but Trump is now a felon-34 times over. There's no contest. I'll take imperfect, old Biden and the Democrats all day long. I'll fight my party on Title IX, not give up on them to spite my face.

Also, extreme right wing in America is white supremacists. It's not like your version of the Tories.

One more thing, KJK can fuck off with her support of Trump. She's not an American and I don't care what she says about our politics because she's not voting here and her hubris in thinking she has a right to influence American politics is laughable and also obnoxious.

The US political spectrum maps poorly onto UK. It seems like the Democrats would probably be Tory Wets (soft right wing) and the Republicans would also be Tories too.

She seems to have retweeted some US twitters. It's clearly a heinous crime but if agreeing with Americans is bad then oh well.

The point of this thread is not whether you are right but that Other views are available and don't require all feminists to denounce kjk as the OP suggests, or any another women for coming to diffrent conclusions than you, on what is the most importnt thing for women, or any other area of politics.
