Venice Expelled from KLPA (Ladies Pond(

MidnightPondSwimmer · 28/05/2024 17:15

Venice has been expelled from the Ladies Pond. It means nothing really as they are just a stakeholder group, but it makes them look terrible like little authoritarian ignoramuses.

Here's Venice's tweet with their silly email. x.com/roseveniceallan/status/1795437142757532118?s=46

She'll still be able to swim, she just won't be allowed to attend the utterly pointless but entertaining AGM.

It's interesting because they sent an email round a few weeks ago asking members to agree to the constitution and if anyone failed to agree then they would be expected to leave the KLPA.

@GoodAfternoonGoodEveningAndGoodnight oh and it was you.

Would like a link to that thread as can't find it and honestly don't remember that one.

YourPinkDog · 29/05/2024 23:33

I think it is right that Venice is excluded from future AGMs. Why does that make me a misogynist?

You're not womanning right, obvs.
If you don't agree with that poster as they say if you don't then they assume you're a man, or call you a misogynist.
Dems the rules.

AlisonDonut · 30/05/2024 06:06

YourPinkDog · 29/05/2024 20:23

No it is not.
But people wrongly calling you a bigot, is not a reason to be transphobic.

Why is it when women say they don't want males in female spaces, especially when nobody can tell who is likely to be a rapist, or fetishist, people like you say think we mean 'trans' people? That's pretty transphobic and so you need to cancel yourselves.

MidnightPondSwimmer · 30/05/2024 06:59

@AlisonDonut this is true, and also @yourpinkdog needs to cancel themself for saying trans people are suffering from a delusion, which is very transphobic.

What is it you don't agree with?

You do think children should be potentially sterilised and put on life long medication? Even if they are gay or autistic and will more likely grow out of their gender distress?

You do think a violent rapist should be put in a cell with a vulnerable woman?

You do think that women should be cheated out of medals by men in sport?

And so on and so on.

You've been asked this many times over the years but you never answer.

Well, we have seen the extent of their full beliefs.

They believe a woman complaining to the WiSpa’s reception in her robe is more egregious behaviour than the behaviour of a naked man with an erection that slid into a spa bath in the supposedly female only section, about a metre in front of a 9 year old girl. I don’t think we need to look any further than that really. It said it all at the time and it stills stands as testimony to that poster’s beliefs.

That and comments about policewomen of colour's fake tans. Can't forget that one either.

AND supporting an abusive male person while demonising just one of the female people that that abuser had been abusing openly. But telling us what a terrible person that woman was for pointing out the male perpetuated abuse against her.

It was memorable, wasn't it. What a solid gold supporter of women, truly epic. (Sarcasm in case anyone missed it).

Helleofabore · 30/05/2024 12:49

I really was memorable Gail. Operation: Let them speak does work every time.

GoodAfternoonGoodEveningAndGoodnight · 30/05/2024 13:14

If this is supposed to be me, not sure what half of it's even supposed to be about.
Anything to try and pin past threads and posts on to someone to try and discredit and insinuate bad intentions if you don't agree with them.
Same old, same old.

Helleofabore · 30/05/2024 13:29

Maybe some poster’s need to their past behaviour and the pattern it shows. Name changing doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

Helleofabore · 30/05/2024 13:31

Besides people who don’t name change have easily researchable histories.

DialSquare · 30/05/2024 13:31

Now you're just sounding creepy.

YourPinkDog · 30/05/2024 13:58

@DialSquare I have said clearly that I agree with the decision to ban Venice Allen from AGMs. Her behaviour was not okay.
I also think that Venice has made transphobic comments, and MN agree as those repeated on here have been deleted.

That is your fall back? Righto.

I don't recall thinking it was ever appropriate to shame a woman for reporting their abuse. But, you can say my posts are somehow 'creepy'.

You've edited to add a completely new context to a simple "righto."
I honestly have no idea what you're talking about now with your "shaming a woman for reporting their abuse ".
I haven't done that anywhere, and would like you to point to where I have instead of making shit up.
If I have I take it back but sure I haven't anywhere.

Helleofabore · 30/05/2024 14:32

Did you vilify Joanne Rowling's 'treatment' of her abuser, India Willoughby? Did you write a post shaming her for making the point that India Willoughby was a male who had a history of abusing her?

No. There is no 'new context' at all. How remarkable that you think it added context to what was already under discussion.

And I have never seen you 'take back' anything that you have written.

YourPinkDog · 30/05/2024 14:35

@Helleofabore this thread is not about that. It is about Venice Allen.
