This is a rubbish post

He's soxxed women - what does this mean?

Attacked women from bus platform- what does this mean?

Stole women's work - no he didn’t

Attacked a young Irish detranis - no he didn’t

Harassed Dr em for years - she gives a lot worse than she gets

Laughed about telling women to f off when they asked him to stop damaging the women's movement. - yes probably, and he was right

Attacked and slandered a young Irish lgb group (who are doing great work) - they’re a group of spoilt brat troublemakers

Demanded women get their platforms (be they irl ornon social media) taken from them as they refuse to accept Hayton - no he didn’t

Defended a nonce apologist- I don’t know this story, he presumably made a mistake?

A quote is normally etiquette if replying directly to someone.
I, and many others, can prove every single accusation I've lain out here. You can't prove otherwise.

"Dr em gives as good as she gets" is a disgusting thing to say and says more about you than it does her.

"they’re a group of spoilt brat troublemakers" they are the only lgb group in Ireland working to expose the abuse they were put through at the hands of belong2, they are neither spoilt, brats nor troublemakers.

A "mistake" defending a nonce apologist? So why is he still defending him?

As for laughing at and telling women to f off from their own movement is "probably right"? Would you ever wind your neck in? It is our right and indeed duty to have a women's right's movement with no men involved. Especially if they are damaging out fight or grifting of the back of it.

You're not the t-shirt grifter are you?

It's always lovely when a bloke pops up to tell us he's an "ally", by defaming those he's, allegedly, an "ally" to.

The Spectator's Natasha Feroze speaks with journalists Debbie Hayton and Helen Joyce about JK Rowling's latest interjection on twitter.

DH tries to stay on both sides: "JKR should not pick on innocent people on twitter" and "I don't disagree with JKR on anything."

HJ is articulate and thorough in her defence of JKR and women's rights, and her rejection of DH's version of events. As always she is never rude at all, but she certainly tells it like it is. Worth watching.

A lot of actual women thought this, and still do, which is one of the reasons we're in this mess: women thought they could afford to be generous and 'share' rights.

UtopiaPlanitia · 15/05/2024 14:55

Oh Helen Joyce was excellent in this at pointing out that Hayton was framing the issue to his advantage and leaving out a lot of the context that informed JKR’s reasons for tweeting as she did. AND Helen mentioned how transwidows and children have demands made on them to be kind and give men what they want. It was great to have them and the lack of support for their boundaries mentioned.

Datun · 15/05/2024 15:27

The issue is Lucy Clark liked the attention and leveraged the victim status generated by JKRolling?? That's why JKR should shut up?

Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel of bullshit excuses, Debs!

Debbie is struggling to clip JK Rolling's wings whilst pretending to be on her side reeeely.

Hint to Debbie, JK Rolling really isn't going to follow your advice on how to write her responses, like evah.

I mean, I know Debbie is quite used to being able to manipulate people into responding in the way Debbie likes, but for fuck sake, JK Rolling?!! 🤣

I mean who's the one who's made a million quid out of writing witty, insightful, philosophical and articulate sentences?

Snowypeaks · 15/05/2024 15:46

When DH talks about "us" and "the fight", it brought home to me that there cannot be alliance between men with AGP and women's rights activists. However self-aware they are/claim to be. It's just not possible. The idea that he's on the same side as us is ridiculous. Not because he is male, but because he is an AGP who claims to be a woman. Whether he knows he isn't really a woman or not, it makes no difference. The AGP aspect taints everything. And yeah, no wonder he wants the fight to be "over".

If this is the case, I'm bewildered why hayton would write a column and appear on youtube talking about him. Surely he's giving him attention, too?

DeanElderberry · 15/05/2024 15:55

They can't help showing off to other men, which includes giving them attention.

Willy waving. Unendearing.

Silverback gorillas do it better.

TinselAngel · 15/05/2024 16:13

If Hayton doesn't think men like "Lucy" should have the oxygen of publicity, is he also planning to retire from public life?

Hayton is a master of forced teaming.

Helen was very good. (And if Helen is reading - such a shame you acquiesced on preferred pronouns in your book, maybe you can edit these in a new edition?).

I agree, I wondered who he includes in the “we” as in “we are winning the battle”

men - is he still speaking as a man (very likely at some level in terms of entitlement)

transwomen - is he implying that their battle the same battle that women are realising they have been drawn into, because it isnt

women - he isnt one so why use that pronoun about something that isn’t his battle

So who is his “we” ?

Helen is superb in this interview btw Flowers

I know. He obviously doesn't realise that people see Lucy Clark and Debbie Hayton in exactly the same light.

Both self serving males desperate for mummy's attention.

AuntMunca · 15/05/2024 18:30

I've just watched the Helen Joyce / Debbie Hayton discussion. HJ was excellent, as always: clear, coherent, polite and to the point. I would expect nothing less as it would take a far greater intellect than DH for her ever to be bested in an argument. I've listened to few HJ interviews very recently and, it may just be me, but I get the feeling that her patience and tolerance for the self-indulgent nonsense that is gender ideology is wearing thinner than it was.

I hadn't really realised this until now, but that's exactly what it is. Thanks Datun. Debbie Hayton has no idea that there isn't a fag paper between him and Lucy Clark in so many women's eyes. So unaware. So self serving.
