Surely flags are flags but no Nike did a 'playful update' adding trans colours to the England football kit.

Imagine changing the flag of others countries!

What is it with companies like Nike that they have to push trans down everyone's throats.

We certainly get visits from people who are bigoted against women who stand up for women.

I am certainly not a Bigot and I doubt you consider yourself one either so not everyone here has the same agenda.

I can't see what the point is. It's not the trans colours. It all seems silly from all sides. But imagine if some corporate "playfully" changed the trans flag, that would be amusing.

I can’t find anywhere where Nike have said this is in support of Trans or the LGBTQ+ community? Rather it seems people have realised it’s a different colour and have attached their own connotations in an attempt to engage in yet more culture wars.

The word “woke” needs to be banned! It’s what thick people describe everyone or anything they don’t agree with.

Huh? How? The colours are not recognisable as representing anything, that's why we're all having to guess. It is a strange thing to do. Seems a risky business decision. I'm not into football, but I'm not surprised to hear fans don't like it.

Looked up Georgia's kit for obvious reasons and it seems traditional still?Though admittedly I don't know how a kit should look.

Whatever it is, an attempt "to unite and inspire" has turned into "to divide and alienate". That's a fail.

but the English flag is a red cross on a white background. A sportswear company doesn't have the right to change the colours and then tell us that's our flag. They can put a multicoloured cross in there if they want, but they can't call it the England flag.

It has to do with "Trans" because the company, Nike, told us it has.
