Woke change to England flag.

Surely flags are flags but no Nike did a 'playful update' adding trans colours to the England football kit.

Imagine changing the flag of others countries!

What is it with companies like Nike that they have to push trans down everyone's throats.

No thanks. I'm a regular reader and occasional poster on this particular board. I've no intention of moving on - I explained clearly why I don't think this sort of post is helpful on THIS particular board. What has it to do with feminism or women's rights?

That’s a rubbish meme - who doesn’t like engines?

Where did this rumour start? I mean it’s immediately obvious to anyone with google that those aren’t the trans colours.

The Telegraph provided a “helpful” diagram.

Apparently:

• on the home kit, the horizontal axis looks somewhat similar to the bisexual flag (as in, it has 2 colours in common, but not in the same order.

• on the away kit, the vertical axis has 3 colours. The lesbian flag is also a flag that has colours (6 of them). Admittedly, there’s no similarity between the colours but surely two things having colours can’t be a coincidence?

• on the away kit, the horizontal axis has 2 colours which are sort of similar to 2 of the 3 colours from the trans flag, albeit not in the same order and a different number of stripes.

I’m sure it’s possible to make a
similar image that does mock anti-woke-folk but there must be a better ladybird book to appropriate?

It’s as if someone tried to make a
leftwing version of this but didn’t understand how jokes work, so just cobbled together any old crap.

So the whole point is that some people apply the “woke” label to each and every thing that they don’t like, regardless of whether it could reasonably be described as “woke”.

Hence the name of the book “Everything I don’t like is Woke”.

Most people would, presumably, realize that accusing an engine of being woke is ridiculous, which is why it’s actually a good choice of ladybird book cover, in terms of conveying the particular point.

The SFA and Diadora released this in 2007, it was worn by players and fans alike for three years, and nobody batted an eyelid.

I thought they were something to do with the 1966 England training kit! The trans colours are,bafflingly, pink and blue.
