I've just written a long post and it's disappeared so in brief - how do you deal with staff who are they/them at work? I will really struggle to call a very obvious biological male 'they'. I also can't loose my job and do want to be respectful but also can't change my view on this nonsense !

But you expect women to accept more assaults so that a group of males who have nothing in common with women and offend at at least the rate of other males can use what used to be female facilities. That is putting women in a very different position to men and is not affording them full humanity. Expanding the bandwidth of make to include people who were clothes which some old fashioned people consider female clothing, or make up etc. that's affording everyone full humanity.

I don’t know any detail on the effect of oestrogen on male strength. A man doesn’t have to take oestrogen to be a transwoman these days. Just saying “I am a woman” would be enough to get me under the ever widening trans umbrella; sorry, that’s more than enough, just saying “I am non-binary” is enough to make me transgender.

In the UK they don't. They are the safest demographic. There are also ore existing vulnerabilities which make someone more likely to identify as trans and also make them more at risk of harms. Reading your post it did not feel like having a laugh with someone. You have to have some connection with someone to have a laugh. Bullies and gas lighters using the 'I was just joking' trope. I'd be careful about joking with people who worry about your ideology causing severe adverse outcomes to vulnerable people if I were you. Perhaps stick to trying to clearly explain your rationale. You have argued for Tw being in women's loos despite the increased risk of assault but if you want to clarify how you'd ensure not one extra assault, please do. It would be helpful.

What about asking a TW to leave? what if they were wearing lumberjack clothe, 6 ft 4 and never taken any articificial hormones or had any surgery? what if they were a registered sex offender? are you OK with women asking some TW to leave but not others?

What I hate is the giving away of women's rights by people who are privileged and unreflective. I don't have TW though They need to stay out of women's spaces. That's not hate. It is hateful to call women bigots for refusing to erode our boundaries for male gain.
