Let's not forget his profile picture is him dressed in exactly the same way as JKR in one photo shoot.

Nooooo!!

Yep - IW is definitely obsessed with JKR. She’s single white (fe)male

JKR vs IW

good Lord.

Missing the point, but was that pledge of 70,000 real, and really from JKR?!

I like the way it says “match JK’s pledge of £70,000” 🤣🤣

Apparently, yes!

DrBlackbird · 10/03/2024 09:18

If you think you have this (you do not) go ahead and post your figures

No thank you. The whole shaky and putative argument is so shot full of holes it is not worth engaging with. This poster would need to put in a lot more work to explain their argument and define their key key terms before getting around to providing reliable evidence.

Plus, I note there was no response to @Helleofabore‘s patient deconstruction and critique…

Datun · 10/03/2024 09:25

Do any of these 'attention seeking time wasters', stalk gender critical men?

I know there are probably fewer of those, but they are certainly out there. Do they get these unrelenting demands for attention?

I mean, look at the TRAs we have on here. Constantly seeking women's engagement. Often in the most tedious fashion, repeating themselves and plopping.

Is there something of a scab picking issue going on? Is it a mummy thing? Because it's not to influence anyone. It's only ever negative attention.

Do they do it to men, too?

No I think it's like those men who "struggle to control their tempers" (citing mental health) around their female partners but are mysteriously un-punchy around their male boss and mates.

Forgot link. 33 minutes.

What a nutter. "If I was raped where would I go? To a man’s prison?" What?! Only if you were the one committing the rape India. Was that a Freudian slip? It’s all about me, me, me….

Poor India, the audience seemed to largely agree that sex is immutable. Apart from the very dubious psychologist (?) that was cryptically alluding to supporting young people with what they need (CSHs? Binders?).

Truly more harm is done in this world on the back of good intentions.

Froodwithatowel · 10/03/2024 09:59

I'm increasingly thinking Curry, who used to post in these parts when it was all fields around here, had it nailed from the start. A mix of 'mummy doesn't love us' with, what is I'm increasingly realising, a need for women's permission and agreement. And in some cases, as we've seen from social media posts, an enjoyment of shall we say, recreational scolding.

Non consent is catnip: the forums and places where women say all the right things and soothe the fevered brows and explain how they'll gladly get naked will not do. The goal is always to come and get attention from the women who say no.

Yeah, funny that.

I remember curry. But I don't remember him saying that. Explains a lot though.

Ugh that Twitter thread, I couldn't read it after a bit. Such hatred oozing out of every pore. And the Question Time bit - why does Fiona Bruce allow IW to talk over everybody? Nobody else is allowed to go on talking after their turn. What a seriously unpleasant and unsavoury person IW is.

And Fiona Bruce told Professor Sir Robert Winston that "a lot of people would disagree" when he stated categorically that you can't change sex. What a ridiculous position for a discussion show host to take.

Swashbuckled · 10/03/2024 10:32

@Cismyfatarse

Thanks for this link.

I couldn’t help but be struck by IW’s constant pointing at, and interrupting of, women when speaking at them.

I was also struck by the thought that, when a biological woman uses what are generally perceived to be more typically masculine gestures, I very much enjoy it. When a man does it, I do not. The masculine gestured biological women tend to use these to accompany their defence of women and to “give as good as” to the men. The men just use them to dominate women; there is no sense of any allegiance in the interpersonal undercurrent.

Not for one second did the sexes even blur for me. Balls swinging in plain sight, indeed.

WallaceinAnderland · 10/03/2024 10:43

That's over 30 tweets about JKR in just 2 weeks.

Waitwhat23 · 10/03/2024 10:44

I don't think India has quite beaten Pink News' record yet - I think they did 87 over the period of a fortnight.

SinnerBoy · 10/03/2024 10:49

Has anyone else wondered if IW chose to report to Northumbria Police, because of the way the treated the female NUFC fan? Let's hope that their behaviour regarding JKR means that they've not only learned, but are applying the lesson.

PronounssheRa · 10/03/2024 10:55

Willoughby couldn't have been more desperate for her attention

It doesn't make any sense

It makes sense if someone desperate for recognition and fame was trying to resurrect a flagging media career. Goading JKR until there was a reaction which would always generate headlines.

Or it could just be plain old obsession 🤷

Course not because females who "man drag" are absolutely no threat to their ego whatsoever

I am trying to find out, isn't Newcastle upon Tyne a different entity to Northumberland?

This is something only men do. If IW wants people to think that IW is a woman, IW needs to stop constantly interrupting and talking over women.

good Lord.

This is one step away from a restraining order.

Especially when we remember India’s original choice of name was Joanne.

I think JKR is everything IW wishes they were - talented, respected, dignified, classy and IW can’t stand that despite everything they’ve put themself through, they’ll never be any of those things.

Absolutely. IW might present themself as female but every action shines a light on the innate male entitlement they can’t hide.

What the absolute F? Professor Robert Winston, eminent biologist over decades, and to be told that? I hate the BBC, if it wasn't for the fact my husband watches it (he's severely disabled) I'd cancel the licence and watch DVDs, and subscriptions over the internet.

Oh you LOVED him, didn't you, BBC luvvies, twenty years ago, with the series he did when he revisited babies, children etc to see how their lives were, a longitudinal, public survey, and the human genome project

I wish there was some mechanism to remove from the lives of people like Fiona Bruce the benefits on her life from people like Winston's work.

Don't believe in genetics? OK, no DNA tests are available to you, no information will be available to you regarding genetics, you will not be allowed to report in news articles that refer to DNA, if a crime happens to you, sorry no forensic tests are available to you.

Take away and bar the knowledge systematically, and the opportunities that come from that knowledge and they might start to get the message.

Richard Dawkins, the same, on a plane back from New Zealand, where he interviewed Maori about the prayers they said before take off. They genuinely, fundamentally, believed if they didn't pray, the plane wouldn't stay up. Dawkins said, "What about the design of the plane, the fuel, the thrust, the skill of the pilot..." No. None of that mattered to them.

"But the plane won't fly without fuel."

"We will pray to the Sky God."

Clearly we are heading to a new dark age where scientifically provable facts can be dismissed on feelings or political or religious whim, the latter being held on equal or higher regard.

Swashbuckled · 10/03/2024 11:19

@Datun
good Lord.

This is one step away from a restraining order.

Yes, it’s all very clear.

Unnerving enough when their obsession is more generalised to women as a species, and they dress up in a mosh mash of pastiche.

But, when an obsession focuses on one woman, it feels like the more sinister obsession of a potential killer or rapist. Alongside the references to kidnapping, why isn’t a psychological risk profile being utilised here… But 'twas ever thus, I suppose.
