I simply observed that you are very confident in your viewpoint, but dismiss articles, studies and statistics from the Prison Service etc. Other posters have provided links to statistical studies etc and you're not interested in trying to counter them logically, nor provide your own counter evidence.

But what if a child wants to be homeschooled ? Or go to a single sex school. You are full of contradictions . And if anyone is free to do what they want then why can they not chose to have a female only swimming area ?

It seems extremely sexist to allow males to access a "female only" swimming pond , thus removing all options for some females. Not when there are two other choices for the males. I realise that females can use the mixed pond, so im wondering why the cool chicks don't do that? Why instead do they invite the males they deem "special" into the female pool? When they know that means females who are not cool chicks have no other option, they're left with nowhere to go?

Well, according to the statistics presented on this thread, a sizeable proportion of transw ARE predators. At least half of the trans prisoners in the UK are in for offences of sex and / or violence against women and children. In the general prison population, it's about one fifth.

Nobody is suggesting that all transw are predators.

Most of the time I have nothing to do with this cause. Literally only when I'm on mumsnet. I accept that the populist right has been successful at rowing back trans rights in many countries. I doubt it will last, particularly in the UK once the tories are out, however shit the current Labour Party is. But we'll see.

Nope that is not what people are saying . But the facts about who is responsible for sexual assaults and rape are facts . Hence why there are segregated spaces . Just a calculated risk in specific circumstances . And protection for young girls who have their periods and want privacy and older people who are embarrassed going to the toilet next to a man . Etc etc . I personally don’t care if third spaces are provided . But I do care about womens language and womens spaces .
