That's very funny, @AlisonDonut 😁

AlwaysGinPlease · 25/02/2024 13:50

FFS. That was a joke

Trouble is @PP82 when you post such absurd shit consistently, nobody can tell. To most people on here , everything you post is a joke, albeit not funny at all.

Neither unaffected nor pandering. Just able to coexist with people with y chromosomes.

We can all co-exist, but that can only happen if differences are acknowledegd and accepted and in some cases protected.

I coexist with male people (I'm the only XX in my house of 5 people, two cats and a dog)
But I understand that my maiden great aunt who has never seen a penis in her life should be allowed spaces to change in without seeing one for the first time and that my Muslim colleagues should be able to redo their hair covering in the women's toilet without the risk of a man entering and that my niece doesn't want to be negotiating her first period at school with a boy in the next cubicle.
So in PP's world where everyone just does whatever the fuck they want how do we handle the conflict between Felicity (formerly Felix) stripping off in the ladies changing room and Vera not wanting to see Felicity's 'lady dick'. Which person gets to live exactly as they wish and which has to be subjected to other persons desires?

Oh and you still haven't said if it's OK in PP land for me to kil MiL so is it or do you accept that we real can't all live however we like.

RebelliousCow · 25/02/2024 13:51

PP82 · 25/02/2024 13:34

Yes, but we are talking about parents not being allowed to control their children.

Parents who do not adequately safeguard their children can lose custody of them. It is a parent's duty to protect and provide consistent boundaries.

PP82 · 25/02/2024 13:51

RebelliousCow · 25/02/2024 13:45

People can choose the schools they think best suit their children. Many girls do much better in all girl schools. More academic, more sporty and often really good female role models.

Children do not belong to the state, and the time they do will be the time we live in a totalitarian society.

I take it you do not have children.

I'm just about to start IVF. I would never send any child of mine to a single sex school, and no one I'm still in touch with from mine has chosen to do so.

When you actually have a child you may find your thinking changes considerably. You have no idea how much until you have children.

Your school must have been a dreadful exception - as many people still choose all girls schools for their daughters.

Theeyeballsinthesky · 25/02/2024 13:55

So you have to have IVF because your DH can’t birth children being a man and all

but there are no differences between the sexes

right

Luckily for you then you won't have to because you have the choice.

Apart from: "I don't believe in private healthcare"
then
"I'm going to use private healthcare to obtain donor eggs"
then
"I use private healthcare for lots of things"

Apart from: "I've lost track of how many times I've been told on this board that I need to seek help for not being more traumatised"
which literally NO ONE said or suggested. What a hugely offensive lie. Many women on here expressed empathy for you for your baby loss and for your rapes. It is just easier for you to lie and make out "us lot" are against you. It fits your strange narrative.

I don't believe in private healthcare but use it anyway. The revolution won't be hastened by my limiting my healthcare options.

Someone did say that, a couple of days ago, on another thread.

AlisonDonut · 25/02/2024 14:00

Private Healthcare is the so Anarchy, yay.

I don't think publicly funded single sex schools are allowed here in Spain. Think all the single sex schools are private Catholic schools, which is certainly not an option for us.

Even if him having it were biologically possible it would be me because a) I want to be pregnant and b) he's a massive wuss when it comes to pain.

He'd definitely offer though. He's a sweetheart.

I've never told anyone else not to use it, while we all still live under capitalism. Like my grandad used to say, you've got to play the game until the revolution.

Thelnebriati · 25/02/2024 14:04

The ponds are not in Spain.
Here in the UK we don't have self ID, and equality legislation means that women are discriminated against by making their pond mixed sex but keeping the men's pond single sex. There is already a third, mixed sex pond.

You'll end up with self id eventually, though you guys have been very effective at delaying, I'll give you that.

? I went to an all girls school. It was ghastly.

You appear to have a woman problem. All your posts emanate it.

I think everyone should be able to live their lives exactly how they want. I always have.

And you talk like a teenager - I'm a rebel, me.

oh sweetie, don't start with the "as a parent i will never..." because that sets yourself up for failure.

If you have a girl you will be doing her a massive favour in sending her to a single sex school. If you have a boy you will be doing him a favour by sending him to a mixed sex school. It is quite the conundrum. Of the people i went to school with, many sent their daughters to our old school. With excellent results.

Good luck with the IVF though, it can be a rough journey.

Peskysquirrel · 25/02/2024 14:10

Someone did say that, a couple of days ago, on another thread.

No, she did not say you should "seek help for not being more traumatised". She said she hoped you got the help you need. She was expressing empathy towards you. That is a misrepresentation of the facts. You see what you want to see.

He could offer till the cows come home he can never be pregnant because he’s a man

only one sex can birth children, the female one. So you quite clearly do know what a woman is you’re just pretending you don’t

Lol. I used to talk like this 20 years ago. I generally don't any more, being in my 40s and all that.

But something about the pearl clutching Victorian prudishness and constant obsession with rules and boundaries on here brings it back out in me. Y'all need to chill!

RebelliousCow · 25/02/2024 14:12

You are speaking like a student when you talk about " after the revolution". It is just ridiculous nonsense. That the revolution has yet to happen suggests that your Grandad was also hopelessly unrealistic in his belief that 'the revolution' would just happen by itself without people actively changing their own behaviours and choices.

Datun · 25/02/2024 14:13

PP82 · 25/02/2024 13:36

Adults should be free to do as they like with their own lives, but not to limit the lives of their children.

Lord, and now you want to remove parental responsibility.

You appear to have issues with your parents too.

Thelnebriati · 25/02/2024 14:15

No rights for women and no boundaries for children is just common or garden male rights activism.
