Yeah. I think they should be banned alongside religious schools. No child deserves to be artificially segregated from their fellow humans during their school years due to their parents' weird beliefs. Not should parents be able to homeschool, remove their kids from any type of lessons, or prevent their kids from transitioning. Your children are not your chattel.

I have to say that in the past i have used men's toilets when there hasn't been a queue for them, I've been bursting and really can't wait any longer. But i have shouted through and taken a man of my acquaintance to stand outside the cubicle so i don't frighten any men on my way out.

And twice i've been at events in football stadiums where the majority (by a VERY long way) of the audience have been women. And in that case there was a very natural move to all the toilets being available for everyone. The men, bless them, only queued in the ones marked with the sign for men (and not many used the urinals although - despite what many people seem to think - you don't actually see their penis generally. Unless you peer over their shoulder or something). [because i've had shit for this before: one was an Ed Sheeran gig at a football stadium, one was the women's cup final]

We know from years and years of study that girls in general have better outcomes (in terms of experience and exam results) at single sex schools. Conversely boys have better outcomes in mixed sex schools. Your insistance that girls may not be separated just confirms that you believe women and girls exist to improve men's lives.

Parents make choices and decisions for their children because they are children. All children to some extent are 'controlled'. Some responsibly some not. Nobody wants to live in a Lord of the Flies dystopia though.

People can choose the schools they think best suit their children. Many girls do much better in all girl schools. More academic, more sporty and often really good female role models.

Children do not belong to the state, and the time they do will be the time we live in a totalitarian society.

We have safeguarding rules because children are not capable of making life changing decisions and because they are vulnerable to abuse and manipulation from adults. Especially now when it comes to social media.
