I don't cook. My husband does all the cooking and cleaning. We are a feminist household.

'Husband' 😂

I think the Man Friday laddies tested that theory and were escorted from the area by the police.

Yes, I remember this. How could they justify that when it’s fine for anyone who identifies as a woman to swim in the women’s pond. Double standards.

'Husband' 😂

Not sure why that's funny?

JanesLittleGirl · 24/02/2024 21:38

PP82 is cosplaying as an anarchist while being a heteronormative member of conventional society what with having a husband and using private healthcare to acquire a baby.

Do you understand what gender critical even means? It's not just to do with trans ideology, for fuck sake.
i

it's to do with criticising why women are expected to do certain things under patriarchal control.

When women were denied the vote, it was because they were 'too stupid' and wouldn't understand. Indeed, it was considered that they were giving their husbands TWO votes.

All these women, who absolutely bloody nailed politics, totally understood it, consigned to the fucking fluffy dustbin.

When they were denied higher education, it was because, guess what, they were too stupid to understand.

When they were denied the ability to take out a mortgage, it was because they didn't understand money.

When women, in the bloody 1980s could be denied service in a pub, purely and legally, on the basis that they were women, it was because they were not responsible under the influence of alcohol.

When the law said a man could legally rape his wife, it was because women were expected to provide sex to men on demand, no matter what. That law did not change until 1991..

Rape was legal within marriage until 1991.

THAT is gender. Society's expectations not OF women, but imposed upon women.

When women say gender critical, that is what they mean. Criticising the gender stereotypes are imposed on women. And men, to be fair, although to a lesser extent.

But It's been bastardised to mean something else. But That's what it means.

So can you imagine the situation where a man says he 'thinks as a woman', so he must be a woman. What is it that he's actually thinking???

It has to be sexist as fuck.

So can you imagine situation where a man says he thinks the way a woman thinks, or he wears what a woman wears, or he behaves how woman behaves, so therefore he MUST be a woman not being a load of sexist tripe, that takes women back hundreds of years?

Exactly. So obvious, yet it needs stating over and over. Scary that it's needed.

How did they decide which one of them was going to be the one to get pregnant?

Peskysquirrel · 24/02/2024 21:55

I asked a similar question on another thread. Apparently biology matters when it matters.

Rock, Paper, Scissors?

Girlontherailreplacementbusservice · 24/02/2024 22:03

@PP82 you think gender feels are more important than biological sex? Always? Including contact sports? Feeling are more important than biology when it comes to rugby or boxing? And you think the rest of the population is hard of thinking?

I've given up the lifestyle stuff but I'm still an anarchist at heart. And I use private healthcare for lots of things darling. And I'm going to give birth to a baby, not acquire one.

Sport is boring. I don't care about sport.

Yeah. For some things. Not for all the things you think it does though.

Oh as long as it bores you its OK for men, sorry ladies with penises, to injury women with labia?

How about reproduction? How did you think that would work on a feeling basis rather than a type of gamete produced basis?

You're fine with women being harmed because it bores you?

Okay then. 🙄

Biology matters for the mechanics of reproduction, but is irrelevant to parenthood.

Don't dismiss sport to hastily - it can be very interesting and quite enlightening:

I'm not sure what that is supposed to enlighten me about.

It is quite an interesting story though, I'll give you that.

How it is not always the case that trans women are lovely and dainty and not at all violent.

How if we only put the most violent offenders in prison there would still 'women' in prison if we use your definition of women.

But in the same way as you have dismissed the hospital rape and Wii spa and the prison statics, the pink legging wearing rapist and all the other examples I'm sure the oh so fragrant Ms Jeska won't make you doubt your conviction that trans women are different to men but it might just help a lurker or two to join the dots.
