So let me clarify...
You can call me a cis woman and feel all modern and virtuous about it despite the fact that I find such a descriptor insulting (because in my view it demeans women - the XX variety), oppressive (in that it attempts to compel me to accept an ideology to which I do not subscribe) and just all round bullshit, really.
But if I call a trans woman a man (which, biologically speaking, he is), or a tradesman a woman (which, biologically speaking she is also it), no matter how polite I am or whether I like the person or not (I know a couple of trans people, who I like and to whom I am always polite), I am an evil transphobe and guilty of harassment.
Nah... I'm struggling somewhat with the double standard. Tell me what I'm missing, someone, please....
