Being raped by a stranger is incredibly rare.

This is probably because we are cautious of men we don't know. If we'd mix in the same way with strange men as we do with men known to us, I bet the numbers would go up.

Exactly. What is the first thing a predator needs? Access to prey. That's why we are most at risk from the males in our lives, as opposed to from strangers. We are quite simply the easiest prey to access, for those predators.

So why in the ever loving fuck would anyone think it a good idea, to make women and children in a vulnerable state by being undressed, isolated etc, easier for males to access? To break the social contract that males will not be in those spaces, to teach children and shame women into lowering their boundaries, to try to make them #be kind, to not make a fuss, to not listen to their own unease?

Why?

I think coming onto a feminist board and lying about what you think a woman is is probably harrassment. Much more so than calling a man a man.

Why don’t you stop the pretence and actually engage to explain what you really believe.

Why do you think we should lie to humour men who are making the outrageous claim that they are women?

I'm not lying. Biological sex exists but I believe gender identity is more important. That's my genuine belief.

refreshingly frank about the 'queer' hierarchy.

Im so glad for you you have such wide spread support inthe general population for this new social stratification.

You are lying, but I won’t mention it again, because we both know it’s true, but you are unable to admit it.

What is a gender identity?

Can you explain what it is and why you are trying to argue it’s more important than sex?

I think I did already, earlier in this very thread. Anything you want me to clarify? Anyway, I'm off to the cinema. As you obviously genuinely want to know, I'll try to answer later.

Are they doing that deliberately, knowingly and maliciously?

Why do you reckon calling a man a man is done so maliciously?
It's a statement of literal truth, whether you can cope with that or not.

I generally assume that if most people disagree with you, then you're probably right.

A more half witted premise I have rarely encountered.

I think you are being generous with the ‘half’

not always sadly

Ohnohedident · 24/02/2024 19:24

youv really got this one badly wrong

PP82 · 24/02/2024 19:25

Yeah, most people are idiots. I'd have thought a cursory look at the current state of the world would confirm that. Anyway, really gotta go. Night!

I’m not convinced that the majority agree with you though, even if those you surround yourself with do.

But yes, I would like to know what you think a «gender identity» is and why you are arguing it is more important than sex.

Ohnohedident · 24/02/2024 19:32

I think we can acknowledge by now that we are never going to get a coherent answer to those questions

Ohnohedident · 24/02/2024 19:35

there simply isn't one.

its nonsense, a ridiculous confection made from academic irrelevancies, misogny at a societal level and a lot of internet porn

Dumbo12 · 24/02/2024 20:07

I always wonder how people who identify gender as being more important than sex, feel about those people who refuse to be bound by the gender stereotypes. Do they seriously believe that a gender non conforming woman is really a man? We still haven't had an answer to the question of how one lives as a woman.

BeReet · 24/02/2024 20:51

PP82 · 24/02/2024 17:39

Some men have uteruses. Some women don't. I have a uterus and also happen to identity as a woman.

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all of PP82's batshit insanity posts and honestly wondered how she was going to top it all, and then I got to this one 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Fair play to all you wonderful posters, male and female, who have persevered with rebutting the sheer lunacy. If this is the state of our opposition, then we women - actual, proper, need-no-further-classification, women - will emerge victorious! Transwomen are men, everyone knows it and they never belong in female only spaces.

When you get back can you let us know which of these lovely ladies is actually a creepy man, and which ones are true trans and ones you'd allow into our spaces please.

I can't as I'm just an idiot. See I think they are all men. But you and your bountiful intelligence knows otherwise right?

OvaHere · 24/02/2024 18:24

We could make the argument there is no such thing as a man - just pre transition women. 🤔

I'll mention it to Mr Wicked,he might want to do something about his hairy back.

PP82 · 24/02/2024 19:00

Since when was that something that required consent?

So let me clarify...

You can call me a cis woman and feel all modern and virtuous about it despite the fact that I find such a descriptor insulting (because in my view it demeans women - the XX variety), oppressive (in that it attempts to compel me to accept an ideology to which I do not subscribe) and just all round bullshit, really.

But if I call a trans woman a man (which, biologically speaking, he is), or a tradesman a woman (which, biologically speaking she is also it), no matter how polite I am or whether I like the person or not (I know a couple of trans people, who I like and to whom I am always polite), I am an evil transphobe and guilty of harassment.

Nah... I'm struggling somewhat with the double standard. Tell me what I'm missing, someone, please....

Brefugee · 24/02/2024 21:09

pages and pages of utter guff and piffle from PP82 and not ONE SINGLE acknowledgement that their utter disregard for the requirements of women who ARE NOT ALLOWED to be in the presence of men to whom they are not related means these women are trapped.

And people like PP82 are facilitating that. People like you are beneath contempt, tbh.

Datun · 24/02/2024 21:18

PP82 · 24/02/2024 19:08

lol. It's not a crime.

Datun · 24/02/2024 21:20

PP82 · 24/02/2024 18:01

I'm not going to 'get there.'

Male on female sexual violence is a product of the patriarchy. Trans women have a different relationship to patriarchy than cis men.

Men are exploiting a loophole in the law in order to access vulnerable women.

That is patriarchy.
