Roz Adams was employed by Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre (ERCC) as a counsellor. She is claiming constructive dismissal for Gender Critical (GC) beliefs. The CEO of ERCC is a well known transwoman known for, among other things, controversial "reframe your trauma" remarks.

Tickle v Giggle (best case name ever) will not be livestreamed because the f'ing TRAs were screenshotting and harassing people. So can only be reported in person so we're trying to find someone to report.

It's interesting to reflect on everything that's happened in public Roz was disciplined for asking about transwomen. I wonder if JKR's challenge to the police (and their response) under the new Hate Crime Law will have any bearing on the tribunal?

I have just been sent a link and a pin and I've logged in on my browser (audio only, mic muted) but just getting a voice repeating "waiting for the conference host to join".

I don't think so.

Tribunals do not referee work place disagreements so current events don't really feature and this was after the period of employment so couldn't have impacted anyone's conduct (of those who are involved).

Tribunals determine whether an employee was unfairly dismissed. In this case, was there a hostile environment, harassment, was the contract of employment broken by the employee so that a resignation constitutes constructive dismissal.
Further was that constructive dismissal because of a protected characteristic - WORIADS belief. If so, was it direct or indirect discrimination.

And BTW - IANAL but I agreed with the decision in Lister vs NCS. The more I heard, the more I thought he did damage to the individual student and no good for the collective student population. He declined to engage in any constructive way to revisit the 'all affirmation all the time' environment (which I agree is awful) and instead bullied the confused and vulnerable teenager.

How do you get teenagers to persist in a stupid course of action if you have no power over them? Argue with them. Never start an argument with a teenager you are not able to (and prepared) to win.

The clerk has to admit you and I don't see him in the conf at the moment.
