How is it possible that men can say they are women and have unfettered access to females in their safe spaces?
How is it possible that we are medicating children against puberty?
How it is possible that a woman can be raped on a female hospital ward by a man claiming to be a woman and then gaslighted to be told a man was not on the ward?
How is it possible that men are claiming titles, sponsorships and medals in women's sports?
How is it possible women and females are being literally erased from so many spheres of life, including health/medicine and marketing campaigns? How come the same isn't happening to males?

She had Izzard as one of the guests on her travel programme - and he kept going on about how pleased he was to be included because she only invites women.

Sandi is a lesbian, so I wonder if she'd be prepared to have sex with someone who has a 'lady dick'. Maybe asking her would get to her think and maybe then she'd 'get it'? Or maybe not, since critical thinking tends not to be the strong suit of unquestioning TRAs.

I can only assume she is living in such a bubble that everyone she knows thinks Eddie Izzard is a particularly lovely woman.

One of my female clients is a young woman from Eritrea who was gang raped. She CANNOT be around men. She has female key workers and female tutors...she lives in a shared residence with other girls. None of my male colleagues would dream of compromising her or accessing her spaces or permitting other men to do so.

So what is wrong with Sandi? Why can SHE not GET IT?

I cant imagine being so privileged that I don't get why women want single sex psychiatric wards, prisons, or domestic violence shelters.

Even if I don't get why someone else wants to feel safe, its none of my business, and I don't feel the need to shame them or try to remove their sense of safety.

I also know of a young woman who was viciously raped by two men, she has literal, uncontrollable PTSD reactions when near strange men in the street/close quarters etc and CANNOT physically be around them. She can't control her shaking, her black-out fear reactions. It's extremely hard for her to go out alone in public, she can no longer use "female" public toilets, sporting fascilities etc because there's no guaranteed a trans-identifying male will be in there with her. It's horrific for her. And this is why I feel such rage at people who use the "anti-trans bigot" bullshit card against women like her, against lesbians, against women who just want to be safe.

Oh, and they can't guarantee her female-only rape crisis support/counselling because the local facilities are "inclusive to women, trans women, non-binaries", so she's too afraid to access therapy support.It's fucking sickening.

I think if you started digging today, and carried on digging until you reached Australia, you still wouldn't have matched the depth of the contempt I have for handmaidens like Sandi Toksvig.

For someone who was excluded for beign a lesbian, you'd think she wouldn't be keen on a movement that's attempting to erase lesbians completely.

What I would like is Sandi to do a programme discussing all these issues around how lesbians are having to deal with all this gender ideology stuff. She could gently argue her viewpoint with Stock and Bindel and Cherry. And then the younger lot e.g. what happens when you set up a dating site or club. And in schools.

Sandi is a star exhibit in the lesbian Hall of Shame. When she set up the Women's Equality Party she gave the impression that she knew what a woman is. Clearly not.

As per Mary Beard, she has reached a point and position in life whereby most of the key points where this issue touches women's lives no longer apply to her. She has reached a point of seniority in her career, she has achieved much of what she wants to do, she has sufficient money to insulate herself from public places/services, her children are grown up and pregnancy/childbirth is no longer a factor (although it may be for her daughters).

It really is a stunning lack of empathy and imagination.
