The BBC are like a bunch of over-grown adolescents. 🙄

As it is, the Cass Report is all over the newspapers, talking about a 'toxic' environment around any kind of discussion of the subject. We can tell 'em a couple of three things about that.

As it is, I'd like to think this is over and the sensible people have made their point. I hope those folks, who have thought that you can just 'delete' people or opinions you disagree with, have learnt something and will think twice before trying that, ever again.

That's actually made me fill up a bit. Not just because of the support, for LWS from the DJ, for the DJ from Roisin but because Roisin has been through the ta storm and they haven't bowed her.

I've found some Winston on Apple Music and having a boogie

It's very well deserved. I saw her earlier this year, with the wonderful and much missed crazy P.

It was a fabulous and bonkers show.

That's a coincidence - I passed through Róisín's hometown of Arklow recently, and thought of her, and have been listening to her music lots since.

I was going to post something today about 'Let's not forget Róisín and lets not hold our breath for a post-Cass apology to her because of the shit she was put through pre-Cass', and found this.

She stands by people when they are attacked, despite having been let down by so many herself - now that's admirable.

The statement from the venue was interesting - they tried to justify their actions, rather than the usual hatefilled namecalling that would have been deployed before. Still the usual nonsense about marginalised communities, and inclusivity including everyone except women . As in women-women.

Does what happened to Joanna Cherry in Edinburgh apply to Winston and Haggers Corner? Surely, this venue is also breaking the law by how they have treated him?
