I don't know how the tras are typing with their hands over their eyes and their fingers in their ears. Róisin has done as they asked and educated herself. It's not her fault they don't like what she's learned.

These people still think they curate the truth and police public opinion - well, we've seen what their 'truth' is. They do have some cheek.

In fact, I'd go beyond mere 'cheek' and say they are antisocial bigots and society-at-large has rejected them and their ideology.

Their response has been to double-down on the bigotry. I say they go to jail - a men's one - and do not pass go, or collect £200.

I'm really impressed with Róisín's latest tweets, I thought that maybe she was just vaguely [though bravely and correctly] 'puberty blockers are bad for young people', but she is tackling big topics with strongly supported arguments, like the puberty blockers v. suicide line.

She couldn't rise any more in my estimation as an artist - always loved her - but she has now shown a serious and very courageous side that makes me admire her more/differently.

If anybody would like to know how to write her name properly on a keyboard ['Roisin' without the two accents means 'resin'!] : alt gr then letter.
Onscreen keyboards have all the accent options at the same place as the letter.

Fortunately the accents aren't on capital letters, cos then you'd have to do
shift+ alt gr + letter at more or less the same time, which is a bit like playing Twister on the keyboard😄

Alt gr? What is gr? I don't have that on my keyboard.

Thanks, Marie. I now feel very continental. So you can do an accent, but how do you do a grave?

On my tablet you hold the letter for an extra wee moment and most of the options for letters with fancy hats pop up.

I don't know I'm afraid. The grave accent doesn't appear in Irish, and I type more often in Irish than in French, so I don't know about the grave.
There are ways of inserting characters blah blah but if I just want to put one French word with something other than an aigu, I google it and cut and paste it into what I'm typing - less of a nuisance than it sounds!
