I’m not asking you to explain that @DerekFaker !
It us just a general request for clarification. Maybe @Flounder2022 can?

Flounder2022 · 16/09/2023 17:37

@ArabeIIaScott I don't think that at all.

Stand with whoever you want. But I will ask you why. And you will refuse to answer. As is your right. And I can judge your choice to either standing with them knowingly or not bothering to find out who you stand with.

Most of you don't know who we are talking about because for the most part ye have no idea what happens in our country. But fire away, come over with your rallies but don't be surprised when people turn up to drown you out.

Are you not listening to what she is saying? SHE IS NOT STANDING WITH ANYONE. That is YOUR bizarre world view that is group mentality, tribal mentalaity.

Arabella has clearly stated, multiple times, that she was not at the rally, so not physically standing next to ANYONE.

How in the fuck can you keep telling her she is 'standing with' an unkown person? It is BIZARRE. She is an individual women with opinions and beliefs.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/09/2023 17:43

Tell that to the Irish women who didn't get a chance to speak.

If some Irish women didn't get a chance to speak, that's sad, but it sounds from what you're saying that there were too many women for all to be able to speak?

Glinner speaking for a minute will have been invaluable for publicity.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/09/2023 17:44

You have the right to speak. Others exercised their right to speak - but louder

Yes, that's how misogyny generally works.

The Communist Party of Ireland flags?

'The whole point of the protest was stated as trying to drown out women's voices.'

You have the right to speak. Others exercised their right to speak - but louder

Ahhh it's all coming clear now.

Ok, so my interpretation is that YOU are the facist. YOU are the one who wants to silence, to ostracise, to eject certain people from society. You wish to drown out people's voices because they do not hold the same beliefs as you. You really need to look at your beliefs because they are deeplly flawed, and extremely dangerous.

If you truly with to be a good person in society, I suggest understanding what facism is, looking at totalitarianism, and at authoritarianism, and then analysimg yourself and your behaviour. I don't judge you by who you 'stand with', but I do judge you on your behaviour and beliefs. But I'm happy to discuss it with you, and for you to speak. And I won't bang pans to silence you.

Flounder2022 · 16/09/2023 17:48

@BlessedKali I was responding to Arabellas question as to why I get to say who people can and can't stand with. My 'you' was a general one not her specifically. You all can do what ever you wish! And I will continue to have an opinion on that. Which you (plural) will continue to disagree with.

BlessedKali · 16/09/2023 17:49

This is a dark, dark road we are being led down, by the youths of today who believe they are absolutely right, and who are willing to force their world view on others, by any means available. It is the beginnings of genocide, of dictatorship. I'm not saying it is going to get there, but this is the pathway to that.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/09/2023 17:50

Kevin the Teenager put in charge of a police state.

BlessedKali · 16/09/2023 17:52

The Nazi's thought they were creating a better and fairer society, and they did that by forcing that opinion on all and silencing all dissent. They did it by ostracising & 'deleting' the people from society who were deemed wrong, and not worthy.

There is no society that has been lead into genocide and dictatorship whilst upholding and protecting freedom of speech (i think - am I wrong?)

BlessedKali · 16/09/2023 17:53

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/09/2023 17:50

Kevin the Teenager put in charge of a police state.

HAHAHAHAH OH FUCK. Yes, entirely. Also Kevin wants to see women undress unconsentingly?

Flounder2022 · 16/09/2023 17:53

@BlessedKali does that extend to all voices, to all beliefs?

BlessedKali · 16/09/2023 17:54

Flounder2022 · 16/09/2023 17:53

@BlessedKali does that extend to all voices, to all beliefs?

YES OF COURSE. Otherwise it is not freedom of speech. FREEDOM.

BlessedKali · 16/09/2023 17:55

“Free speech is meaningless unless you allow people you don’t like to say things you don’t like”

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/09/2023 17:55

Also Kevin wants to see women undress unconsentingly?

Yes, I imagine he would.

Flounder2022 · 16/09/2023 17:59

Ok. I think we will leave it there.

Freedom of speech does not guarantee the right to be heard or to have a platform. I can't and will never agree with you so continuing a conversation is pointless. I will never agree that giving a platform to racism. homophobia or any type of hate speech is ok.

Helleofabore · 16/09/2023 18:04

CasuirDubh · 16/09/2023 16:21

The people at the march today obviously. Presumably those who attend the march are in support of its aims - that's universally how demonstrations work.

The proof is that the same people attend fascist events and bother librarians and immigrants.

Maybe the reason it's a tired old arguments shows you've been playing with fascists for too long 😃

You talk of proof and have provided none. The onus is on you to name and shame those fascists.

If you just keep talking in vague then you are just here in bad faith.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/09/2023 18:04

@Flounder2022

Love, you've gloated about abusive men shouting over Irish women speaking about oppression that they've faced, including sexual assault. You don't have the moral high ground here.

Flounder2022 · 16/09/2023 18:07

It's safe to say on the issue of trans people we disagree. So let remove that from the conversation for a moment

The individuals I named earlier speak quite freely on some or all of these:

Ireland is full. Migrants and bogus asylum seekers are raping women daily. Irish women live in fear of unvetted migrants roaming in packs in our towns and cities

Anto abortion and gay marriage

Anti vax

If they rolled in to your town and set up a rally to speak on any of these would you be happy for them to do so unopposed?

Yes, unless the hate speech is targeted at women, which is fine, for reasons. Probably their own fault, after all, they started it.

MargotBamborough · 16/09/2023 18:09

CasuirDubh · 16/09/2023 17:12

Well if others in your tribe share this view it explains a lot. Thank you.

Any decent political or social movement takes action when they realise that their group is being infiltrated by fascists. I wondered why the anti-trans movement ignored it but this makes sense.

If you think fascism is legitimate why would you try to stop them from joining your number? You'll live to regret though because fascists famously don't care about women or feminism.

So what are your views on the fascists who have infiltrated the trans rights movement?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/09/2023 18:12

Who are you talking about?

The muppets who Irish GCs don't care are far right and wondering if Blessedkalis belief that all speech should be heard extends to their racist, homophobic rhetoric

DerekFaker · 16/09/2023 18:20

Today I learned that 'being welcomed in' means 'standing right at the back being ignored'.

This whole twitter thread is worth a look - shows that the majority of protestors were men. So many angry men.
