Not more tolerant at all. It is not tolerant to want to close down debate, get your lectureres disciplined or sacked, and have meetings cancelled.

It is true, though, that post-modernistic theories have been dominating on university campuses for a decade or so now, and this is what yourg people have been exposed to. Quite frankly I'm personally sick of the lionising of youth.Youth has an arrogance that asumes nobody else has ver questioned stuff - and that older people are necessarily backward. Simply not true. There is a lot of naive idealism when young. It goes with the territory.

Young women have been brought up with the gains made by older generations of women - and they take it all for granted - they don't realise how fragile it all is. Yet still, they are shouting out about 'male violence' and 'the patriarchy'

I know of many women in their thirties who are involved in the push-back - and there is a new generation even younger than yours coming up behind who is having none of it. Your pet ideology will become an oppressive nonsense one day, too.

You really think when you get to be 50 that sex will no longer exist; women will no longer become pregnant or become mothers, and that sexual violence, assault and male paraphilias will be a thing of the past?

The claim that the age group between 18-28 is the most tolerant is now proven to be a false claim across several polls as well as many anecdotal events. Polls have found that friends are not being honest about their opinions with their friends or their peers out of fear. Fear that they will be rejected as is also evidenced by the same polls. A very high percentage of that age group admit to stopping friendships, and not talking again to colleagues once they found a political point they disagreed on.

This is not a characteristic found in the age groups 39 years old and above.

Anecdotal evidence includes then now many protesters seeking to cancel or to drown out anything from meetings to film screenings to debates and rallies where women have opinions those protesters disagree with. This particularly happens at universities where those 18-28 year olds attend their studies.

This, many times over. As an oldie I am quite capable of tolerating other's lifestyles, but I draw the line at expecting me to pretend a self-chosen gender identity is of any significance.

Who exactly is hanging out with fascists? Who are the fascists people are hanging out with? How have they been hanging out? You mean someone attended an open mic public rally where anyone can just walk up and listen.

And post proof that they are fascists?

Frankly, it is a tired old accusation and no one who is a critical thinker believes the accusations.

The TRAs can't even stick to basic science, so expecting them to be accurate about anything else is a forelorn hope. Maybe one day they'll emerge from their "toddlers in a meltdown" stage of non development. But on the basis of their ability to piss themselves in public and not even acknowledge how embarrassing they are, I'm not holding my breath.
