Oh no, older women speaking? Why, the very idea!

I'll say one thing for the genderistas, they never lose an opportunity for misogyny.

Feel free to join us, there'll be coffee.

Don't be so fucking stupid. We all know that Datun is our leader.

WaveyGodshawk · 16/09/2023 14:01

Very emotional watching that, just caught the end of the livestream. That last speaker before Posie 😢 strong brave women all.

She kicked me up the arse once and I was fucking grateful

A lot of old people from what I saw.

They had a teen girl speak but she looked very out of place given everyone else seems to be above 50.

Almost as if the teen girl was a "token" young person to try and make it look the gender critical movement is varied in age, when clearly the very vast majority are middle aged and over.

Old women matter too.

I'm so jealous. I dream about her kicking me up the arse.

Tinysoxxx · 16/09/2023 14:11

Well done that teenager. I would have been terrified to speak at such an age.

borntobequiet · 16/09/2023 14:13

We were all young once, you know, and would have recognised gender nonsense as nonsense at any age. The young women I know are, if anything, more irritated about it than I am, because they see entitled, selfish men stealing their opportunities to shine as women, for example in sport.

And you will get old too, and perhaps reflect on the foolishness of your youth.

DialSquare · 16/09/2023 14:18

I've always thought that the young people who do go along with this ideology will cringe themselves inside out one day about it all.

In the meantime, I'll cringe myself inside out for them.

"And you will get old too"

Hopefully my old self will have better things to do than worry about what people have between their legs or their sexuality.

Please stop being so ageist. Every women, as in female people, matter and have a right to privacy and dignity and to have a voice to speak.

If you are really 'inclusive' then stop trying to shame women into giving their opinion on how a decent society should take care of them.

RavingStone · 16/09/2023 14:26

Young people as a token? What a fascinating idea.

Forgetting of course that caring for young people is very often a large part of what these evil witch feminists do both personally and professionally.

Perhaps a little projection from Lizo, who really shouldn't assume all rights movements behave in such an appropriating manner as trans ideology. In fact I can't think of any other rights movements which use marginalised groups as shields behind which to hide unpalatable ideas. I mean, I think there's actually minutes documenting this somewhere, is there not?

borntobequiet · 16/09/2023 14:26

Times are changing, people are more tolerant.

Oh get over yourself. I grew up in the sixties. You have no idea how much more tolerant and relaxed people were then, and things were getting better still until a few years ago, when all this identity politics took over, with the thought police to enforce conformity.

Uh? Where do you get that from?

It’s a strangely reductive and simplistic (as well as mistaken) viewpoint.

RavingStone · 16/09/2023 14:36

Go to any college or Uni campus in 2023 and you will find the students are overwhelmingly in support of gay and trans rights, and any "TERFs" are in the minority. Look at the protests against Stock TERF teacher for example.

The ones who disagree are too scared to speak out. TRAs leverage make privilege to issue violent threats and intimidation. And there are many more young people who just find it all excruciatingly fun-sapping and dull and just keep away.

This is all enabled by people with considerable power and influence, most of whom would be deemed irrelevantly old to someone as ageist as you.

Do you never stop and wonder why trans rights ideology is accepted so uncritically by the Police, the criminal justice system, financial institutions, big businesses, media, civil service, government and academia? I mean, it's incredible isn't it?!

Look around at our world. Are we suddenly living in utopia?

Or, is trans rights ideology a men's rights movement in disguise, which offers absolutely no threat to the patriarchal status quo, allowing the powerful to appear conscientious with no skin off their noses?

I didn't see much difference between the Munchausen Mammies crowd and the Let Women Speak Crowd in terms of age. Until the white shouty men joined the MM crowd.

Oh, and the LWS crowd is MUCH bigger, of course.

You are kidding yourself. There's a growing pushback from today's teens. A lot of them are SO over the gender nonsense.

And please stop lumping LGB people in with the T+. There's a HUGE difference

DerekFaker · 16/09/2023 14:43

LizaBizza · 16/09/2023 13:58

And do mentioned young people want to do this? Or are they doing it with very heavy encouragement to do so from yourself?

Wait...I thought that younger people knew who they were? Aren't they capable of deciding for themselves that they're trans and need surgery, puberty blockers and hormones? Or are they easily influenced?

Oh dear, your ageism is showing....that's not very kind is it?

Treaclewell · 16/09/2023 14:53

LizaBizza is obviously ignorant of the work done with orca, pilot whales (short finned), beluga and narwhales, along with the Asian elephant, which have successful survival strategies because they have populations including post menopausal females. We alone of the primates do this. Strange to develop a strategy to eliminate the wisdom of our elders. Those species would mock us if they heard her.

I think it is a built in part of the capitalist system, telling young people that old people are stupid and wrong thinking.

BlessedKali · 16/09/2023 15:05

''Look at the protests against Stock TERF teacher for example.

Right. The young aggressive protestors that covered their faces like the Klu Klux Klan and harassed a middle aged philosopher out of her job are REALLY tolerant aren't they?

I would say that young people seem to be MORE intolerant. Hitler Youth springs to mind.

Imagine yourself ten years ago, think about how much more you understand the world now, how much deeper your ideas are. Think about the things you thought you were right about, but have since ditched...

Women that haved decades of life experience have valuable things to say, I would suggest young people did more listening and less tantrum-ing.

(I am early 30's.)
