I don’t know if anyone has been following this with Jordan Peterson but he has been ordered to undergo a self funded Re-education program in Canada, having lost a recent court case.

I have a feeling he isn’t well liked on here but I actually really like him. I’ve listened to many hours of his lectures and I don’t believe he is a misogynist - I think that’s the accusation that makes him a MN hate figure.

I have just a day or so ago watched a video where a Trudeau interview is examined. Trudeau does not come out of it well, neither does the "journalist"

I like JP too. He clearly deeply cares about people and is doing what he can to help them to improve their lives. He becomes genuinely distressed at human suffering.

When I have read his stuff the accusations against him haven’t held up and have misrepresented what he says to the point of lying.

The debate on how far inequality for women is due to social vs evolutionary factors is one I am happy to have. I don’t hold that against him.

I find Jordan Peterson incredibly frustrating to listen to, especially in interviews. I don't think taking every observation of your interviewee and reimagining it through the lens of a religious narrative is particularly intelligent or profound. I know that's his bag but I'm not sure how it gained enough traction to make him such a popular Canadian? 😁

Anyway, clearly this is an outrageous infringement on his freedom and another step towards the dystopian future of right-think authoritarianism...but watching him shut down the re-education process by mangling every sentence of his re-educator into yet another painful analogy until they would willingly stick their own head in a blender will be highly entertaining.

With my feminist beliefs I don't like Jordan Petersen and I don't like the Canadian College of Psychologists of Ontario either. It's like King Kong vs. Godzilla, I don't care who loses as long as they all make a nice big spectacle of themselves. Though my money's on Jordan Petersen to win- he is knowledgeable, media-savvy and articulate and he will cast far more light on their confusion and prejudices than they will on his.

So bring out the biscuits - the good biscuits!
