Brilliant news, I'm guessing the lawyers for the pub group had a little peek at the Equality Act.

I'm looking forward to seeing a raft of congratulations and support from other organisations like Stonewall in the LGBTQ community for this great win for the right of lesbians to assemble........... (/sarcasm)

Great stuff. Of course Stonegate backed down because being homophobic and banning lesbian events is illegal. As soon as Stonegate's lawyers saw what was going on they would have screamed.

Glad LGBA could use their legal skills here. Lawyers are useful! What they say about the implications of this are massive.

This is great, but here is hoping Jenny and others expand hugely. Stonegate is a huge chain they could do this in other places.

We need lesbian events in every town in the UK. Like we used to have a whole 15/20 years ago. Society pushed lesbians back in the closet time for them to come roaring back.
