The DEI execs can say what they want. No major chain wants to get sued for homophobia in a case they will 100% lose. As soon as an actual lawyer looks at this they will backtrack.

Remember there are single sex gay clubs/saunas for men all over the UK. No-one cares.

This is why we need to up our game. More events. More exposure.

The more we do the more the TRA side will get nasty and the more they are exposed.

I see where you’re coming from, but legally there’s a huge difference between seeking single-sex provision where none currently exists, versus being deprived of a service (renting a room) because you’re legitimately providing a single-sex service.

Exactly. Also Stoneguard are a pub company. That will influence how deep the gender ideology stuff goes down. Remember too this is not the first time it has happened Bindel vs Nottingham council over cancelled meeting, Cherry vs the Edinburgh theatre. DEI have way more influence in a Council/Theatre but even there the lawyers realised the case was broken before it started. Every time these cases get legal the other side fold. Because the basis of the entire case is bad.

That is why we need more events and hopefully the TRA try to shut them down and we lawyer up. They fold. The publicity make TRA look bad and look weak. Remember the whole 2018 period where the TRA got a lot of women's meetings closed down or venue moved. Post Maya we can fight back way more easily. And we should. Chances are it will never go to court.

So the case of the battle over Sarah being denied single sex provision and other terrible stuff in the NHS is more complicated legally it seems sadly. Remember we have had mixed sex wards for years and we know they are a disaster. However with Sex Matters building strength maybe there are more legal cases to be made there.
