Happy to. In a nutshell, as a physical therapist since early 90s, there's an increase in thin girls (and even middle age/older women). Some of this is natural/idiopathic, some is the result of Instagram culture/over exercise. Sometimes eating disorders. Also a growing number of Asian women with Vitamin D issues due to not getting much sun/covering up.
More and more I'm sending female patients for osteoporosis checks (DEXA scans). Increasing numbers showing the results you don't want.
As a group we also have issues with terrible lifestyle choices patients, amongst women near the top of the list is bad exercise/diet choices and the bane of my life, the seemingly humble but in reality totally lethal flip flop.
Yes, we hate them! Lol.
I've seen one or two cases of what seem to be trans patients who've been on puberty blockers for some while, and together with extreme exercise and diet choices, are very challenging to treat.
My clinics aren't really big enough to have seen many, but I'm aware of trans medicalisation and osteoporosis risk.
As was EPATH at their recent conference, where they en masse laughed off the risk.
