I hadn't seen anything about this on X/Twitter previously, but apparently some activists have been putting pressure on the venue and they've cancelled an upcoming event called Comedy Unleashed because one of the comedians is Graham Linehan. I just watched a compilation of Glinner's comments on Talk TV being circulated by Willoughby.

Everything he said is factual!

The presenter was obviously getting panicky producer messages in her ears when he started talking about the Challenors despite every word being true.

I don't think Challenor's dad is going to sue them from prison for mentioning the 24 year prison sentence.

And it was really funny hearing her say, I love your comedy, the it crowds....

The cancelation was an item on the Storm Huntly show on C5. It is the third trans item they have had this week, and just like the appalling discussion re JKR and museum, inviting Helen Webberley on to speak, today's item was the same. All the women go how awful that people are so horrible to this vulnerable community. The men go what's the problem, but never refer to women's rights.

And as someone who doesn't watch daytime tv made me think how many shows are pumping out this TRA ideology?

Lets face it a tiny miniscule % of the population are on Xtwitter. But mainstream media, print and tv have a far wider reach.

So would be more interesed in a list of all those who have used their platform as part of MSM to peddle that trans myth.

And in the specific instance of the subjet of this thread have managed to censure and erase someone who was, if not a central figure, but a well established figure in the media world.

GL may not always be the best ambassador for himself, or women's sex based rights, but if he can be cancelled, it shows the power of the MSM.

And as we know from the women who have suffered the same fate, the MSM will never admit it has ever made a mistake. So this censoring and manipulation is going to continue for years. Even if only to protect their own reputations.

During the segment, The IT Crowd creator made shocking claims about the trans community and frequently talked over Rosanna.

What he said is shocking but non of them are claims, they are all verified facts as he said to her.

At one point, Linehan raised his voice when Rosanna interjected to inform him he was veering away from the subject of discussion to which he snapped: ‘Don’t lecture me.’

She was lecturing him and very badly, he told her she didn't know enough about the subject to interview him properly about his views.

She was asking him about the things he's said and he's repeating the things he's said to her and she's telling him that mentioning known and convicted pedophiles is bad for his reputation!

So many people just don't WANT to hear it, they would far rather smear the person saying it than have the actual issue discussed.

I do worry that the influence of US car crash tv is going to mean we will see more and more of this, and that the media will decide who can or cant have a voice. Let alone anyone speaking up for women's rights.

I totally understand about how wrong cancelling the show is, but because the focus of the reporting it this, no one is saying why should someone by cancelled for talking about women's rights.

Journalist my foot. I had a quick look at Twitter earlier and she put out a self-pitying and attention-seeking message about how awful her feed was. A likeminded chum said he was so sorry this was happening to her and she bravely responded that it was OK, she'd muted them all. So in other words, she's deliberately closed her ears, eyes and mind to all the people pointing out that she is sadly misinformed, and why. What a numpty.
