And... I'm back in the room.
Got to say the CT scan was definitely preferable to the alternative of shoving a camera all the way round my bowel whilst awake! Thank you for all your virtual support, you can stop eating Tunnocks on my behalf now.
So continuing the survey of random NHS staff the CT nurse puts Tunnocks tea cakes top and gets upset if her mother tries to persuade her to buy cheaper knock off versions!
I waited until my clothes were back on before I ate a caramel wafer! Only because I'd left them in my bag with my mate in the waiting room!
I will admit there was no way I was trusting patient transport for a 9am appointment in a different town, so have forgone tomorrow's cleaning and got my lovely cleaner to take me. She may have been rewarded with a big Mac meal on the way home. Obviously it would have been rude not to have one myself whilst we were there!
I can continue with my birthday week of celebrations now that's all over. Although I may wait a while before I start on the snowballs! I'm still a bit full from the McDonald's. So another five minutes should do it!
Looks at coffee and walnut cake that's also sat in the kitchen, and wonders (whilst offering up silent prayers of thanks) why mine isn't covered in fondant icing like the other birthday girls cake is.
