Tunnocks

I have seen it quoted on here for many years that Tunnocks are to be supported as they support women's rights. I have looked on their website and social media and can see nothing to support this rumour. Does anyone have any evidence? Thanks.

I saw a picture on FB, this weekend - of one of the baked delights offered by a cafe in Broughty Ferry - a thick slab of Millionaire’s Shortbread with a WHOLE Tunnock’s teacake on top!

Sadly I love too far from Broughty Ferry for it to be sensible to go and buy one. 😢

As @Somanyquestionstoaskaboutthis rightly points out that's never going to serve 16!! Maybe if we double up on all the quantities!

@SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius I tried searching for an image of Millionaire’s Shortbread with a WHOLE Tunnock’s teacake on top! Just in case, but was unsuccessful then I just went down a rabbit hole of Tunnocks recipes and gift baskets

Wow! They also claim they'll keep for up to one week - I can't see that happening.

I'm wondering how I can incorporate Tunnocks into my favourite recipes. I'm writing a family cookbook of my own recipes (mainly in my head which is no good) and I can see that Tunnocks should feature in my terf section.

I think I'm going into sugar withdrawal!. On the plus side having now read the diet instructions properly I have discovered that I do actually get to eat jelly tomorrow afternoon.

I could mange Tunnocks caramel spread spread liberally on toast, like the biscuit one there is (can't remember it's name).

But you're on your own with the lasagne.

I think Sorted Food did a sweet lasagne with kitkats. I bet that could be adapted to Tunnocks.

So, 1 ambulance transport, 2 woman transport team. Same crew there and back. The one who was in the back with me prefers Tunnocks snowballs to Tunnocks teacakes! That woman has good taste!

The worst bit was sat waiting for the pick up back, it was lunchtime and everyone was walking past me with lovely smelling lunches and the cafe was wafting out lovely milky coffee smells!

I'm off for a nap, (remembers there's a Tunnocks tea cake on the bedside table, I'll just not switch the light on and pretend it's not there).

Can someone eat a caramel wafer, and a tea cake for me. The ones Somany had earlier are insufficient, I'm still hungry 😞

Cake did you just swear? mentioning the other wafer covered in chocolate bar is just not on! However a whole sweet lasagne made with Tunnocks could work (I'd been imagining it with meat😲)
