Tunnocks

I have seen it quoted on here for many years that Tunnocks are to be supported as they support women's rights. I have looked on their website and social media and can see nothing to support this rumour. Does anyone have any evidence? Thanks.

After having some kind of fugue over the past couple of weeks that made me forget Tunnocks existed as soon as I crossed the threshold of a shop. This then coupled with a stomach bug that made me avoid the biscuits aisle entirely, I was in Tesco today and i finally remembered them (I think it was them playing Travis as I rounded the biscuit corner). And they only had bloody teacakes, which are too sweet for my poorly tum! ☹️

Look I don't get out out very often and therefore have to rely on the frankly not predictable stock levels of an online Sainsbury's shop. So seeing them out in the wild was just to much temptation.

I was good though I left the dark tea cakes for you!

I’m not sure whether to be impressed or scared that the marketing dept even managed to sneak Tunnocks into my book, making me crave teacakes for breakfast today so now I have to go shopping in the rain.

I've took against Faye.

Faye isn’t nice. But then visitors arrive and she doesn’t go to the shop, so I don’t know if she ever went or if Marjorie had to stay Tunnocks free, it’s a Tunnocks horror story in the middle of my book!

Only because I have to eat a horrible restricted diet until Wednesday afternoon as I have CT scan. No Tunnocks until then! I have to turn away from them when I'm in the kitchen!

I'm only just over half a day in and it's killing me! Although at least I actually get to eat more than once today! Tomorrow's fun, I'm allowed a boiled egg and a slice of toast in the morning and then a solitary slice of toast on Wednesday morning.

It would have been more bearable if I hadn't had to slot in a hastily rearranged different scan appointment tomorrow as well.

I want a Tunnocks caramel wafer sooooooooo badly.

Hope all goes well on Wednesday, Beetle. Can you promise yourself a splurge of caramel wafers after the scan?

I may be taking a few with me! I'll be eating them as I put my clothes back on!

That sounds torture boiled. Definitely take them with you. I would like to say I will refrain from tunnocking in solidarity but I don’t have any self control at all.
I hope the scans bring the best answers they can.

I’ve just been chatting to the lady who served me in Asda. She got very excited that I was buying large quantities of Tunnocks. She is another addict who eats a box at a time. I started the sentence “and I have to eat double for a couple of days because boil…. “ before realising how mad that sentence was going to sound! Quick save to because a friend was unable to eat them before an op.

I'm beginning to think Tunnocks put crack in each batch!

I'm trying to work out whether it would work if I flicked through the photos of when I ate various Tunnocks bars as I eat a boring piece of white fish would it trick my mind into thinking I'm eating Tunnocks bars.
