Tunnocks were eaten in rather vast quantities yesterday! Judging by the amount of empty wrappers sat next to my chair today!
I'm still trying to get hold of someone at the NHS to complain about it all. You just get stuck in a one of our operators will be with you as soon as possible, but they never actually answer the phone queue or answering machines!
I've left voice mail messages on numbers where that's been possible and am currently back on hold. PALS aren't answering the phone either! I do feel for the poor sods who have answered on some numbers I've tried who haven't been able to help but have been regaled with the whole story, whilst going 'he did what???'
The police did seem a little perplexed when they came out to deal with the very violent woman the big strong man was scared of to discover once they arrived they were dealing with a arse of a man and woman who was ill and just wanted to get to a hospital appointment.
I think a combination of me crying uncontrollably whilst I explained why I was going to miss my appointment and the fact that it was already an urgent scan appointment which had only been made a few days earlier helped, And then the nice guy who books the ambulance transport (who thankfully I was on the phone to at one bit of the whole shit show so he heard what this guy was doing and shouting at me) has booked it as an ambulance pick up this time so as to avoid getting an arsey volenteer driver!
(One final thing: All the way through it all the main thought going through my head was 'of course he's wearing a fucking rainbow lanyard!')
Anyway back to Tunnocks. I may actually eat real food for breakfast today. I'll save the Tunnocks for lunch!
I'm now wishing I had Yorkshire Tea gin to go with them!
Update the call i was on hold to as i was writing this finally was answered and the complaint is now in. Have to wait up to 6 weeks. She did ask me what I would like to happen to him and if I thought re-education would be appropriate. I suggested sacking on the spot would be more appropriate!
Such fun!
