I have seen it quoted on here for many years that Tunnocks are to be supported as they support women's rights. I have looked on their website and social media and can see nothing to support this rumour. Does anyone have any evidence? Thanks.

Now that is the hat to have, is it waterproof? Not only did she eat my Tunnocks but she drank some of my Mason’s Yorkshire tea gin too. I may have to reconsider her friendship.

I have to play clematis wrangling to get in the back door too. One day it’s fine the next day it’s taken over the world.

It does look like a rather nice hat!

She's no friend! Which means you have a vacancy...I wish to apply for the position (wonders how much Yorkshire Tea gin I can drink and how many Tunnock's tea cakes I can eat before you work out I'm no friend but a food hoover in disguise)

Coming soon...

New photos, as yet uneaten/ never tried before Tunnocks product

(Not awake enough yet to actually eat anything)

Want to see what I've got? Sneak peek.

It's clear that the consumption of Tunnocks is a fundamental human right that must be respected in law. The fact that indulging in this right may lead to medical problems such as obesity or diabetes is an issue that the government needs to address and make available all the resources necessary to minimise the risk without disrespecting people who identify as Tunnocks consumers.

Clearly legislation is needed here. All Tunnocks products should be allowed to identify as being calorie-free, which, according to the current magical thinking on identity, will mean that they immediately become zero-cal.

So, the makers of our favourite food source know the thread exists! poems

They also managed to be completely neither side of the fence but did like the Tunnock poems

The elusive wafer cream is rather nice.

That sounds slightly equivocal. Like 'not bad ' or 'okish'

Somanyquestionstoaskaboutthis · 22/07/2023 22:00

Boiled you can definitely pretend to be my friend if you have goodies from the Gods themselves.

Somanyquestionstoaskaboutthis · 22/07/2023 22:01

That wafer cream looks a bit quite nice rather than ohmygodicantgetenough

Boiledbeetle · 22/07/2023 22:07

@JanesLittleGirl The problem with the wafer cream is that your brain gets your mouth ready for a caramel wafer, but when you bite into the wafer cream there's not much mastication required so by the time your brain has realised it's not eating what it thought you were eating you've finished the bar.

By the time you eat a second one thirty seconds later your brain is ready!

They are nice, very nice. But I'm not sure yet where it fits into my preference list. I'll have to eat all 8 to be able to decide!

@Somanyquestionstoaskaboutthis well, I do have that packet of Dark caramel wafers now so.....

Somanyquestionstoaskaboutthis · 22/07/2023 22:11

You don’t like those, you need to share

I know. I was looking at them thinking I'm not going to be able to do the only Tunnocks photo eating of that as it will be about 100 photos of me taking tiny bites!. The video would be me going blghhh every tiny bite!

Although it has been a long time since I tried one, maybe my tastes buds have matured!

Somanyquestionstoaskaboutthis · 22/07/2023 22:26

You still won’t like them. I do. Send them here.
DS has just pointed out I’ve eaten 7 teacakes today. I’m a bit shocked at myself, I thought it was only 6.

Boiledbeetle · 22/07/2023 22:30

Hmm I shall consider your selfless offer of sacrifice on my behalf.

You're no doubt correct in your count. I bet DS is gaslighting you because he's eating them on the quiet!! Stop his pocket money until he admits it!

Somanyquestionstoaskaboutthis · 22/07/2023 22:43

That is a very good point. I will keep a closer count

Boiledbeetle · 22/07/2023 23:03

Keep the wrappers in your pocket until the end of each day!

CervixSampler · 22/07/2023 23:04

I bought 3 more packs of caramel wafers today. One pack for mum's house and 2 for my house. They are the best thing ever at the moment.

Boiledbeetle · 22/07/2023 23:07

@CervixSampler if there was only one sweet treat I could ever eat again I think the caramel wafer would be it.

(I reserve the right to change my opinion on this when I'm in the mood for something different)

CervixSampler · 22/07/2023 23:16

Have you seen the merch on their website? I think I need a Tunnocks mug or jute shopping bag in my life to carry my Tunnocks back home.

Boiledbeetle · 22/07/2023 23:21

And a Tunnocks teatowel to dry your Tunnock mug

Tunnocks
SinnerBoy · 22/07/2023 23:45

I've got to ask, is it a fluffy one which dries things, or one of those stupid ecru things (beloved of SinnerGirl) which only moves water around the plates?

Boiledbeetle · 22/07/2023 23:50

It's 100% cotton, non fluffy, like the ones you use to dry wine glasses etc. It will need a few washes first though.

SinnerBoy · 24/07/2023 18:13

We took our Ukrainian guests out to the sticks today. The cafe at Derwent Reservoir sells wafers and snowballs!

The daughter (23) tried one of each, she really enjoyed the wafer, but found the snowball a bit too sweet.

I couldn't explain properly why she was doing such a great job!

Boiledbeetle · 24/07/2023 18:22

Ahhh Sinner I see you are ensuring full assimilation into the Tunnocks way of life for your guests! She's right of course the snowballs are exceptionally sweet!

Makes note of Derwent Reservoir as a good food pitstop!

Yorkshire tea gin. God I learn summat new every day on here.
Sounds divine, what do you mix it with? Asking for a friend.

Munches on a Tunnocks tea cake whilst I think on the matter... Wipes away crumbs...

Surely the only thing to mix Yorkshire Tea gin with is more Yorkshire tea gin?

Either as boiled suggests, with more of the same, or on well behaved occasions with plain tonic.
