Tunnocks

I have seen it quoted on here for many years that Tunnocks are to be supported as they support women's rights. I have looked on their website and social media and can see nothing to support this rumour. Does anyone have any evidence? Thanks.

Could you maybe eat carbs but wave pom poms more?

I'm not sure if it's yet been scientifically proven that pom pom waving cancels out carbs but I'm sure one of us could come up with a paper stating just that finding!

OK, out of my depth now as I haven't (in detail)RTFT, but are you sure that pom poms aren't carby, as in pomme de terre (notoriously carby)?
THat being the case I will wave them.

Boiledbeetle · 21/07/2023 18:47

@Random789 Trust me reading the thread won't help.

So I've checked, the totally scientific study has concluded that waving pom poms cancels out all carbs eaten. See study attached. It just needs peer reviewing then im good to go with dazzling the world with my results

@Somanyquestionstoaskaboutthis the quality of joke is directly proportional to the amount of Tunnocks products you have in the house.

You are obviously at critical pun level you must replenish your Tunnocks supplies immediately. Do not attempt further jokes until you have replenished your stocks.

Random789 · 21/07/2023 19:07

Thank you, @Boiledbeetle. That looks like a very sound study. I will quote it in a zillion cobbled-together PowerPoint presentations at awareness-raising events.

Wonderful that the peer review done. We're good to go.

Waving pom pins negates the carbs in the food you eat! It's official!

Boiledbeetle · 21/07/2023 19:12

Note waving pom pins will NOT negate the carbs only Pom poms will. I hate you autocorrect!

I'm sorry but this research is completely invalid as you made no effort to centre trans people.

But the human had a tail and cat ears. Admittedly they were outnumbered by actual cats.

Thank you for clarifying the sample characteristics. Consider the research peer reviewed.

Excellent!

The evidence will reveal itself to you once you have purchased, unwrapped and consumed six cartons of Tunnocks tea cakes.

I approve this message!

Here's some much pruned clematis; it was all over the washing line, yesterday!

Oh, you have to prune it?
Sigh I'm dead on my feet and have been for 7 long and futile years. How often does it require pruning? If it's more than once a year, I'm out.

Love, love, love this.

I think it's an excellent study. Well done boiled, your talents know no bounds.

That looks so like my garden that I briefly thought it was my garden, and that I had forgotten posting pics of it.

Bollocks. Ate 3 caramel wafers today. I'm supposed to be maintain

CervixSampler · 21/07/2023 21:06

Ffs maintaining my new almost svelte weight. This thread is not helping my self control. Hell, the self control is out the window. It's a good job I can't leave the dc to go back to Asda to buy more.

Meh, its not a school night, take them with you!

I don't actually dare count up how many lbs of Tunnocks I've eaten today!

JanesLittleGirl · 21/07/2023 22:23

It's clear that the consumption of Tunnocks is a fundamental human right that must be respected in law. The fact that indulging in this right may lead to medical problems such as obesity or diabetes is an issue that the government needs to address and make available all the resources necessary to minimise the risk without disrespecting people who identify as Tunnocks consumers.

JanesLittleGirl · 21/07/2023 22:42

Just to add that Boiled's invaluable research into the benefits of pom poms in eliminating carbs should be front and centre of the government's solution.

Oh yes, unfortunately. Whenever you can't close the kitchen door. So like, y'know, whenever.

Somanyquestionstoaskaboutthis · 21/07/2023 23:31

DS appeared home with 4 boxes of teacakes and some caramels. I am going to have to buy bigger clothes. But a friend came round and ate 2 teacakes, shocking, I don’t share Tunnocks

Butter GIF

Could you arrange to put that along with my stunning pom pom carb study in front of the right people I'm currently dealing with a slight issue.

It turns out not all identities are valid look at this poor butter being violently smeared. It's literal violence. Just because it said it would like to identify as double cream!

Why are people letting other people touch never mind actually eat your Tunnock supplies? Are you people insane!

I'll eat my hat before I share my Tunnocks.

And that's why I have concrete. Although to be fair considering I can more or less touch the back gate from the back door step if I tried sticking a bush in there I'd be screwed

Somanyquestionstoaskaboutthis · 22/07/2023 09:53

Now that is the hat to have, is it waterproof? Not only did she eat my Tunnocks but she drank some of my Mason’s Yorkshire tea gin too. I may have to reconsider her friendship.

I have to play clematis wrangling to get in the back door too. One day it’s fine the next day it’s taken over the world.
