Okay so I have found out where the hearing is going to be Guildford Magistrates Court - 9.30am for a 10am hearing.

Everyone that can and is nearby should go along. You can sit in the gallery and support CF or send a long local and National newspapers.

The more presence there is the better her chances.

The hearing is tomorrow.

Maybe there's time to organise an anti-hate presence there too?

Of course go for it!! The bigger the fuss the better. Maybe sky news can send some helicopters and we can bring Surrey to a standstill. I am all for public scrutiny.

It’s so onerous one might imagine we are dealing with a highly dangerous known defendant that has been charged with the most serious of crimes. It is entirely, entirely disproportionate.

It is incredibly onerous and as you say gives the impression one is dealing with an imminent terrorist threat. I sincerely hope the Magistrates throw it out on the basis of the utter disproportionality of it.

I think an anti hate, love is love is love presence would be helpful. Don't forget the balaclavas, baseball bats and pee. The newspapers will love all that, you'll make front page news.

An "anti-hate presence" is code for an anti-woman protest and involves at least one of:

• masked young men shouting to drown out women who are talking
• bullhorns to facilitate the above
• soup, milkshakes, or water thrown at women who say things that the protestors don't like
• intimidation of sexual assault survivors who are meeting for group therapy in the same building as the women saying things that the protestors don't like
• insufficient numbers of police to maintain public order, standing around doing nothing
• really badly designed signs on brown corrugated cardboard
• drawing penises on the pavement with chalk
• unlawfully blocking the entrances to buildings

Townsend is as gender critical as they come. If she doesn't want involved in this then that says a lot IMO.

I imagine people are trying to hold the police force accountable, and this is just one option.
