This sounds horrendous. How can the police do this.

And yes, it was exactly as we predicted in the previous thread.

Should a certain police officer pop up in this thread, please try not to get drawn into protracted, repetitive arguments with him. Please!

You refer to me.

Thanks for the misgendering.

😂😂

Socks are curious things. Me, Caroline, and another friend had our addresses and phone numbers posted on KiwiFarms. Coincidences happen, but that was certainly an unusual one.

I consider that I have been subject to stalking, harassment, and doxxing, as have some of my friends. It is not remotely sane for people to do things like buy your wife's Grant of Probate and boast about doing so.

But this is about Surrey Police. Personally, if Caroline really has done various nefarious things, then I welcome - as should others - complete transparency concerning the evidence and any hearings. There's no reason for her alleged misdeeds to be shrouded in mystery.

Well said. Transparency is certainly needed.

That’s horrendous. Do you know who they are? Every case like this should be investigated by the police for heavens sake and perpetrators punished - I am sure it will come - but it’s not much comfort to you atm.

PriOn1 · 07/06/2023 13:46

Yes. It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow.

DirtyDuchess · 07/06/2023 13:47

Merlin, I couldn't give a flying if you're the butcher or the butcher's dog. You've earned no respect from me.

Or the police could stop persecuting her and then she wouldn't struggle.

'Vulnerable'??

Are you truly trying to imply that there are no corrupt police officers trying to bend the law to suit them or their agendas?

Can we just pause and consider Wayne Couzens for a moment? And the inside support he received? And others like him. Do you really expect anyone to ‘trust the process’ when we are faced with the current levels of misogyny and hate towards women?

I have just spent some time looking over past police action against CF, and it seems to me that there is a determination to silence this woman completely. Maybe given her wholesome life and faith she feels like the one they most want to take down - I have no idea why she has been chosen or how many are like her. I think we are about to find out if this gets the exposure we expect.

Ultimately the law and its process is there to protect free speech. This country is policed by consent, I might remind you. I wouldn’t test the patience of the public much more - it’s already at breaking point.

It’s kind of a fair question. Nothing about the police behaviour here seems legal much less something that would stand up to any of the public eye, court or the internal investigations. What could possibly make them think they can do this? Corrupt police don’t actually walk around the streets wearing ‘I’m a corrupt cop’ tshirts, but they seem to be doing so here? Why? What do they hope to achieve/do they really think they can get away with it?

It really is quite incredible isn't it?

Emotionalsupportviper · 07/06/2023 13:58

Boiledbeetle · 07/06/2023 09:19

Wow! That seems rather heavy handed.

Ignoring all the monitoring her equipment shit how can the police justify withholding the accusations and alleged evidence?

It's bloody insane.

Particularly as Suella Braverman has just very recently emphasised that saying things that somebody just doesn't like, is NOT an offence, and shouldn't be treated as one.

The police should be concentrating on crimes rather than "non-crime hate incidents".

Hell's bells - people say and do plenty of things that I dislike on a daily basis - I don't summon what amounts to a private police force!

If it's the individual I'm thinking of, they display more red flags than the Communist Party's golf club. ⛳🏌

Not vulnerable, at all.

eurochick · 07/06/2023 14:04

Merlin appears to be rubbing Merlin's thighs in glee at the prospect of draconian measures being taken against Caroline and the effect this will have on her family. What an odd individual.

SerafinasGoose · 07/06/2023 11:58

I've just been reading her Twitter feed.

Apparently the vexatious litigant has ensured any efforts to this end have been closed down. From memory, one of the gardening sites did the same thing with Allison Bailey.

As CF points out in one of her tweets, this person sues people and then removes their ability to defend themselves.

The VL is a dangerous person. There really do need to be sanctions in law for people who abuse the legal system to persecute others. Not least questions to answer for the police forces which facilitate it.

Alison Bailey's statement of why she was crowdfunding her legal case was removed, but the funding page itself remained. Has Caroline's actually been removed?

Ultimately foot soldiers will follow instructions, whatever they might be. Very few will raise their heads over the parapet
(s) or would dare to - that’s how the bad apples got/get away with it for so long.

It’s outrageous that we are not aware of the charge(s) and this farce is being allowed to continue.

GailBlancheViola · 07/06/2023 14:16

One would expect there to be good credible evidence to support such an application and for their own legal team to be fully involved as they are civil orders.

Incredibly draconian orders to be applied in extreme circumstances, I cannot see how from what we know that CF's case is in any way extreme - is the complainant in fear of their life from CF?

WagnersFourthSymphony · 07/06/2023 14:25

is the complainant in fear of their life from CF?

Worse than that - they fear she is denying their entire existence.

/snark

Ah the just following orders defence which is has, rightly, been proven time and time again as no defence.

GCalltheway · 07/06/2023 14:33

In all years working in an area not unrelated have I ever seen an order along these lines imposed on such flimsy grounds. I have read the conditions Surrey police are pushing for and one could argue CF is serving a sentence before she had even been charged, if it’s granted.
It’s so onerous one might imagine we are dealing with a highly dangerous known defendant that has been charged with the most serious of crimes. It is entirely, entirely disproportionate.

Magistrates will hopefully give this order the scrutiny it deserves - at least for their own sake and the Judiciary’s credibility.

No, she's purposely chosen one that isn't in thrall to The Ideology, but in doing so has pointed out that the VL has an established strategy of trying to get funders to pull the rug.

I've checked her Twitter, and the link is still live so I'll be making a donation. What's happening here is a travesty.

If my stalker had been taken as seriously as this I'd have been a lot less traumatized and not had my life, safety and mental wellbeing put at sustained risk. It's most certainly still a man's world and the establishment and law-enforcing bodies are upholding that structure.

Yet I've been stalked, spent three years looking over my shoulder in fear and carrying a rape alarm and a whistle. I'll give you THREE guesses what the police did ...

Boils my piss, it does.

DerekFaker · 07/06/2023 14:38

I can honestly say that when police know they are under the microscope you are even more likely to find everything is by the book.

Phhhhhht. You could say the same thing about Caroline, could you not? And yet here we are.
