Things are once more happening on this board's less reputable and more permissive sibling site. And given the role KiwiFarms plays in the Trans culture wars, I'm sure will interest some here.
Many will recall the drama of Liz Fong-Jones, often nicknamed "Liz Dong-Gone" on the site, he of the Lego-man shaped head and noted trans activist and litigator. Well, he has once more like the Kraken of legend, emerged from the depths to try and shut down the Farms. Widely considered to be motivated by their documentation of his self-admitted "consent accident" and his association with a charity named "trans lifeline" which was found guilty of fraud. Dong Gone is a millionaire, former Google employee (fired after using his official position to petition people with to shut down the Farms) and he's now using a new approach. He is filing copyright infringement claims. This is a rather nefarious tactic because the claim itself does not need to be valid, the law requires the material to be taken down and the person responsible for it to go public to defend it. Thus stripping them of protective anonymity. I don't think in the current age and in the context of the trans activism, how important anonymity is.
Null goes into the specifics in more detail, though the highlight has to be that the images the Consent Accidentist is suing over are a headshot of him and a picture of his Bluesky post, plus another picture of him with the text "Consent Accidents Do Happen!". I recommend reading the actual thread for the detail - easy to find as Null has banner linked it at the top of the site at the time of writing.
But here's the thing. This is a genuine risk to the site. Null's solution is to counter-sue as the only option to actually deal with this. He launched a fundraiser yesterday and it's already hit $75k but that's not enough. Fong-Jones is personally a millionaire and has a hatred for the site like no other for the verified things it documents about him. And if the Farms goes, not only would that be a huge blow to critics of the trans movement as it is THE premier archive of things TRAs would prefer to be forgotten (like said 'consent accidents' and fraudulent trans charities), but the same tactic can be used on other sites as a chilling effect.
I figured people here would like to know, given the sometimes overlap and common cause between the Feminism board in particular and the Kiwi cousins.
